I feel like they made some interesting choices in the writing. They didn't make Vecna too scary, but they showed some gruesome deaths for the soldiers. And I lost count of the "Jesus Christs" and "Goddammits," which for me, was a bit much. Admittedly, I'm a bit religious, but I would rather hear "s-" or "f-" than that. I think they were trying to ride a line on keeping it just kid friendly enough, and maybe that played a role?
