Vickie and Suzy disappearing....Suzy disappeared well before the epilogue. I can't even remember the last time Dustin mentioned her, but it was well before this season even started.

As for them all looking like Mr. Wheeler...why would Vecna have any interest in making them all look like Mr. Wheeler? For what purpose?

I don't even understand this? How do Nancy and Karen Wheeler "look like" Mr. Wheeler in that photo? What does that even mean?

I also have no clue what "x is a lie" is supposed to mean.


Dimension X is the other name for the Abyss where Vecna and the Mind Slayer were platonic roommates

WTH, first of all, how do Nancy and Karen "look like Ted"? Also, do they really "hate" him? What half literate person wrote that?

Not saying there is no big surprise, i guess I just don't get some of it. Ted's just a lame washed up 80's dad, but "hate"? LOL

I don't categorize it as all-time great TV, but I wasn't commenting on S4's quality at all aside from by all indications it's unlikely they planned for 5 seasons so Vecna was written in to be a new big baddie, not necessarily some clever writing.

I mean...the classic one is Harry Potter.

There's this whole alternate timeline where at the end of book 7, Harry wakes up, and he's back in his room under the stairs...It was all a dream.

Would be have been wild had they turned stranger things into a D&D fantasy.

And honestly, the ending wasn't "that " lame. This is pure cope from people that didn't get the exact ending that THEY wanted. There are people out there who seriously think that Mike and Will should've ended up together, that Steve and Nancy should've gotten married, that at least half the party should've been violently killed, etc. None of those are good endings. They're just endings that individual people really wanted.

Considering how many TV shows I've loved over the years have had frustrating endings - Lost and Game of Thrones towering at the top of that that list, I thought Season 5 was wonderful and the ending was great. We've reached the point years ago where there's going to be a seething mob that is mad about everything that any show does

I was actually hoping this is the way it would have ended. A long DND multi year game that wraps up in the basement with the kids rolling a natural 20 to defeat the final boss as their game play and conversation makes it clear that they are essentially playing the final part of the quest. Was it all just a game? I would have enjoyed seeing them pull that off.

Interesting video. That being said, if I have two pet peeves at the present, #1 is thumbnail face in youtube videos, but a close #2 is a video that splices in shots of the guy looking confused or introspective between scenes of what they are trying to show you.

Brower just did guest appearance as Vecna in the play in NYC. Brower is on Fallon, and his video has the "tomorrow it begins" comment. The play is about Vecna's origina. Conclusion: Netflix recorded the Brower appearance as Vecna on broadway and is going to release it like Disney did with Hamilton.

Honestly, no one with a life should notice anything like door knobs changing over the years on ANY show. I think we have a contingent of hyper obsessed super-nerd fans who just can't come to grips with the show being over...and I think there is some truth to the dissatisfaction with the ending. Maybe it was never going to be good enough though.

But yeah, I can't imagine finding relevance in some of the things they are speculating on, no matter the show.

Surely there HAS to be a prequel coming right? About the guy in the cave with the suitcase? Maybe about the Montauk Project directly? With all the flashbacks to Henry, Joyce, Harrington, etc in highschool it almost seems obvious.

And I don't want to watch a stupid play to learn that stuff. I DESPISE plays.

Why did vecna/mind flayer want to merge the worlds? Or how would that have even worked? It seemed like they'd just explode into each other and destroy everything but that obviously wasn't the case.

I take it as Henry is an earthling. But he went to Planet X to gain his power. He's "ruler" of Planet X together with the Mindflayer, but where's the fun in that? Planet X looked like an absolute drag. It'd be more fun to be all-powerful on Earth.
