Ahhh yes! I gave it a quick google. I think she was pretty obviously distrustful of Venus and was playing from a power position, but one of her trusted allies (Tevin) was one of those players just waiting to blindside people.

Was that just a year ago? Lordy.

There used to be a time I could tell you who was on each season. Now I can tell you who was on seasons 1-2, the Pearl Islands one with Rupert, and a couple of the All-star campaigns.

Hope the Season 50 approached the greatness of the Champions All-Stars one they had several years ago.

Just watched first two episodes from this season. Really like the cast. It seems they go more for Survivor fans now (which there are thousands who probably apply) versus the old days when people weren't as clued in to the concept. I think that is why you see less cut throat and personal attack plays today. I remember wanting to fast forward through the final tribals in some of the early seasons, because people who had already been beaten at the game wanted to take out their frustrations on the final 3.

Rooting for Mitch, Joe, Eva at this point.

Was also cracking up at Sei thanking all the women in her life who empowered her to get that idol...by asking the three men in her life at the moment to help her!

Cannot wait to see how she and Mary get along next week.

Man, assuming he knew the rules, what a smart play by Cedrek. Prevented himself from being eliminated and allowed him to completely control who went home. Glad that it was pizza guy, he seemed like a real miss by casting.

I do not think that is what happened at all. He could've just flipped and voted Justin out with Sai. He seems pretty clueless to me.

He definitely could have, though if she had voted for him, then it would have ended up with Sai having all the power. Again, not sure that he thought all this through, so I'll be fascinated to hear the interviews once he's eliminated.

What a Tribal Counsel!
Cedrick is clueless. He is not playing strategically; he is playing w/ his emotions. Sai is going to stab him in the back the first chance she gets. If he would have kept the Pizza guy, he would have had a Ride or Die ally / Pawn. I think Sai will get hers when they merge next week. I love Mary.... she is funny, but she got lucky w/ the Shot in the Dark. Also, none of them could think fast enough when they found out someone couldn't vote.

Eva needs to keep her mouth shut for now. Survivor 101- Don't throw somebody's name out unless your sure that you vote them off. I'm afraid that she's done for: a physical threat and not really in a tight alliance. Is the dude dressing chick w/ the potential idol ever going to figure it out.... Are they just going to let her spin? If I was her tribemate I would. As long as you know she hasn't figured it out, there is probably not another Hidden Immunity Idol out there.

I agree.... two (2) tribes is better than three (3). With three (3) there is always a tribe that sucks worse than the others. Maybe it is done on purpose w/ the casting. The merge will be good.

Also, what happened to separate Reward Competitions and Immunity Competitions? I don't like one Competition for both... or do they only do that when the game gets to Individual Immunity?

Definitely don't think Cedric knew the rules. He was just being loyal to Justin until Justin gave him an out to make a dumb play and keep Sai.

In doing so, and with the tribe swap, it seems almost impossible for Cedric or Sai to win the game now- not that either had much of a shot in my book beforehand - because wherever Mary ends up, all she has to tell them is what happened at the tie-breaker and how one minute Cedric is loyal to Justin, and the next he's kicked him to the curb, thus forging the Cedric/Sai alliance that must be broken up.

Really enjoy the way Thomas is playing and his commentary. Captain Beardo is also doing a nice job so far.

Just once I want someone to ask Jeff, "Why do you have to build all the wood pieces at dick level for the blindfold challenges?"

Houston 1836- That's a good observation. I think the Pizza guy was a little more strategic than we give him credit for. He played his "No Vote" the best he could.

Mary may be the Rachel of this season.... we'll see how many lives she has.

Could Pizza Guy have bluffed and pretended he did vote and his vote must have been negated by an advantage or did Jeff make it clear exactly what happened?

Either way the Green Tribe has no loyalty to each other now and they're going to be a bunch of free agents come merge.

At some point Jeff did say that the Pizza guy didn't have a vote.
But, he could have tried harder to convince Cedric to keep him. Also, why would Cedric want to stay w/ the those two chicks bit@@ing at one another? No thank you, keep the dude and sanity.

It was really surprising that Cedric cut Justin based on the footage we saw. I think Justin might have assumed he was going home as soon as Mary used the shot in the dark, but he probably then assumed he was safe when Cedric voted Sai twice in a row on the tie-breakers

Cedric being so super wishy washy doesn't exactly seem like a ringing endorsement for him to be your surgeon.

I can only assume that tribal council lasted 3 hours.

We know the producers have a pretty good idea on who is voting for who, and absolutely know who has advantages and likely will play them.

But there's no chance that Jeff didn't have to go to the back and confirm the rules for like 20 minutes before every round of that shtshow before explaining them back on camera.

Also- obviously editing, always. But how the heck does nobody notice whatever PA pops in and drop off the note in front of Justin every time he comes to "vote" that says "you're not voting"? My guess now, is that a PA comes in and grabs every vote out of the urn after someone makes it, before the next person comes in to vote. Which, totally makes sense because what, other than the "rules", is to stop someone looking at the votes made before them, so they aren't fazed bc it happens every time, so they are used to it.

These are the things you never even think about until a tribal turns into a shtshow.

Another fantastic tribal council last night as Kamilla and Kyle sell the fact that they don't really like each other, have no advantages, and have learned some valuable life lessons to the California Girls alliance, and then blindside the **** out of them. Both of them must have done their homework on how to sell the "what I've learned" monologue at Tribal, because Thomas, Captain Beardo, and Joe were all giving them the doe-eyed "good for you, kid" looks and facial expressions.

Captain Beardo was particularly rocked to his core that they were fooled.

They didn't say it specifically, but I think Kamilla gave Kyle the extra vote to use so that Beardo and Joe will continue to be fooled that the two of them aren't working together. If after tribal Kyle says he had the idol AND the extra vote, Kamilla can look like she also voted for him, as they didn't read all the votes, just enough for Thomas to go home. If immediately afterwards, Kamilla says "Did you have an extra vote AND the idol?" and Kyle says yes, then you'd have Joe and Beardo still thinking she voted with them.

Really fun season so far.

Yep, they played that PERFECTLY! Very interesting thought on the extra vote. I assumed they didn't play it as they were convinced all the votes would be on Kyle and thus his idol would be enough to sway the entire vote

Could be planning for the next tribal. The tribe is now 2-2, so not playing the extra vote was crucial to surviving the next vote.

Great play by Kyle and Kamila. Really liked all five of those players, so I wish it had been a different tribe going to tribal. Interesting that Thomas not sharing his advantage was his downfall. Using his steal a vote would have guaranteed that their alliance was safe but he felt too safe and didn't want to break that trust of revealing his lie.

I was sorry to see Thomas go. He was smart and funny. But he definitely presented as the biggest threat of the 3 of them once Kamilla pieced together that he had lied about the journey he took. If they had know how tight Joe was with Eva, I have no doubt it would have been him gone instead.

The best Survivor moment I can remember. I think I've watched 45-ish seasons. Never seen Probst be emotional.

Now the rest of them have the unfortunate task of deciding when to vote Eva off so she doesn't win $1 million

I was bawling right along with them. Major snaps to the editors for highlighting how desperate Joe was to connect with her.

As Jeff pointed out, that very well could be a game -ending move for Joe, because now everyone knows how close they are. Joe gave zero ****s. It was absolutely amazing. One of the best Survivor moments in the entire series.

Bless Ava's Heart. She was freaking out during the challenge, got herself together and finished it and, then, owned her disability. And the cast was very cool about it, especially Soda; Opening her heart to Eva and then giving her the Idol when Eva figured the code out (her disability became her Super Power by being able to focus in and figure out the code). I think Soda may now be my sentimental favorite. But, it's a good point.... who is going to be the a@@hole that votes Eva out?
I'm not sure what happened at Tribal Counsel, but Sai is a good one to keep around as a shield. Nobody will like her and she will always be an easy vote off. However, it is people like that who hang around forever, never get voted off and make it to the Final 3.... Aggie Mitch may be in trouble now.
Priceless- Mary and Sai continue to bit@@ at each other. I still think Mary is the Dark Horse to win this.

Kyle had the perfect out on why he voted the way he did previous TC - instead of saying yeah Kamilla and I got you good, he says "it looked like someone went thru my bag so I had to vote for Thomas" and good on Kamilla for letting him know they did that.
