Glad Kamila didn't win

It is a wild year that Joe is a goat

My biggest laugh was after Kyle told everyone he was a Lawyer, Eva goes "you want to know what else will blow your mind…" and then says all she has accomplished and the jury didn't react that much. Had me laughing so hard.

I don't know in what world Eva played a better game than Joe. Unless the cut was bad she got all her information fed by Joe and then had 0 pulse on the game. She's the reason that Shauhin got blindsided because Joe decided to ride out with her gut.

I think Eva just made better connections than Joe did. The two people Joe was closest to in the end were the two on the final 3 with him. Eva clearly had a good connection with Star, and Mary was such a wild card that she could have voted for Jeff Probst and I wouldn't have been surprised.

Agree. Kyle and Kamilla waited until the perfect moment to drop that bomb for maximum effect.

Honestly, I liked Eva and believe her struggles were heartfelt in the beginning, but as the game progressed it felt like she was using her autism for sympathy, especially towards the end. It got old for me.

Not sure what happened to Joe at final tribal, despite his solid gameplay, he evaporated like a fart in the wind.

Kyle was the clear winner at final tribal out of those three, and capped off an enjoyable season. I do agree, Kamila would have won had she been able to make fire. I love her cut throat, scheming style of play.

The fact that she and Kyle kept their alliance secret for the entire game was pretty amazing. David was the only player to suspect it, and as soon as he did they took him out.

It may have been the editing....but this was the part of the jury phase where the votes swung to Kyle.
Up until this moment I felt like we were cruising to an Eva or Joe victory.

Eva got on my nerves. Joe was great on challenges, but his outwit portion of the game was average.

They always cut stuff from final tribal because they want to have everyone on the jury ask a question, even if it's a dumb one (hence Cedric going first).

Anybody have any predictions on who will be on 50? They will announce it next week on CBS Morning.

Nothing but runners-up?
A straight up old school vs new school?
My vote: All the hottest women, and that's it?
All celebrities?

New-era returnees perhaps? It's a shame because there were some good folks from seasons 35 onward and none have returned except for Winners at War IIRC.

I don't want to see Rob and Parv again. Let them stay retired. Seasons 30+ IMO.

It's going to be people across all eras. Rumors are people as far back as season 2 Australia and maybe a few people returning for a 4th time

I saw Colby's name out there from Season 2. I was going to write that he seems super old to be on Survivor again. Then I looked it up and he was born 2 months after me.

Man, Colby's storyline ended in 2010 when he was "Superman in a fat suit." I don't need to see him again!

I have no problem with Kyle winning but I'm still confused by this season's edit because I was really surprised that Joe only received one vote.

Like I mentioned earlier, who did we ever see Joe having a good relationship with outside of Shauhin, Kyle, and Eva?

You never saw him talking with Cedric, with Mary, with Starr.
He was rope-a-doped into burning David and Shauhin who gave their votes to the person who masterminded their vote out
He seemed to get along with Mitch OK, but Mitch said near the end that he had been working with Kyle and Kamila "the whole time".
Chrissy probably voted for him because he was a physical beast as an older player which resonated with her.
Kamila was obviously not going to vote for him

Good points, I guess when I think about it the two people Joe appeared to be closest with were sitting next to him at the end and in hindsight maybe his lack of gameplay/jury management is why no one ever took the big shot at him.

We finally caught up and watched the finale last night. Enjoyable season with some great characters.

My kids were running around the house this morning, joking about their arm angle while drinking milk.

I watched the after show finally last night. Keying in on Joe, he seemed super pissed he didn't win.

This list "leaked " on Survivor Sucks on a 1,200 page thread about Survivor 50. The super fans there immediately hated it / loved it. I don't know who half these people are without looking them up, but all I really need is my man Coach Wade.

Seems sort of fake because of all the 48s coming right back.

Stephanie was an A+ looker back in her time.

I'm a little surprised Mike White is returning, with the success of White Lotus. Guess he just really loves the game.

I remember Colby's giant Texas flag from season two.

Maybe half of them I don't recognize by name alone.

Rick devens would have went down as one of the best ever if he'd a won, dude found like 8 idols and used them all to save his own ass. Chris comes back from extinction the whole season, beats him in fire and wins the season

Nobody from 19-30 is pretty shocking. Would have figured they'd try to get Malcolm or Joe Anglim back

Also they better be going back to 39 days. No way you could have 24 people in 26 days. It'll probably be 3 tribes but I'd love a new era vs old era format with two tribes of 12 until they get to 18 and then go 3 tribes

Ozzy, Colby and Cirie are legends but good lord it's time to let it go. I would much rather have had a few more good newer players.

Oh well - should still be fun!
