Mary bout to win this season. The rest of these people gonna over play their hand.

Always crazy to me that alliances with a clear path to a final 4/5/6/whatever break up. Though it's hilarious that David got the villain edit and was totally right about Kyle and Shauhin. I guess bringing Mary in as his #1 (which I don't think we were really shown??) was David's real downfall. A true strong guys core 5 had an easy path if it stuck together.

Not sure how I feel about Joe and Eva turning on David. If you're going to sell an honest game, don't know that you get respect for blindsiding like that.

Now we're going to end up with Mitch and Star in the Final Tribal instead of 3 strong players (no offense to either, but they have had weak gameplay so far).

The one thing Eva did- she lied about her advantage.

She said it has to be used by F6 when she came back and told all of them that.

It was quite clear that was F5 as she got the rules.

So I'm not clear if she intentionally backed it up a round while she was blabbing her mouth, or was just too stupid to know the difference.

Watch that.

I'd venture to guess everyone believes it runs out at F6, then she pulls it out at F5.

I remember her wording that oddly, and I think that's all it was. Surely they would have pointed out her lying about that.

It looked like Kyle believed his own lies. Everyone watching knows he has an alliance with Kamilla. David knows it. But Kyle seems to actually believe he has no idea what he's talking about when he's talking to the muscle alliance. He tells Joe it was because of things that happened to him when he was young that it triggered him. That's why he was acting all weird. Then he gets his origin story segment when viewers know he's full of it.

I thought this one might be different, but this season went the way all seasons go... The weaker players targeted the strongest player (David) as soon as he slips up.

David thought Kamilla had an alliance with Shaheen, not Kyle.

Exactly. Usually when someone lies about an advantage, there is a cut away to the liar in a confessional saying "I told my alliance about it, but they think my idol expires at final 7, but it's really final 5."

IMO, David's biggest mistake was targeting Kamilla because "Shahim was aligned with her" while he is openly aligning with Mary in front of everyone.

That is the line of attack I would have used if I was Kyle last week. OK, if we are targeting Kamilla because she might have Shahim's ear, then I think we should dump Mary first, because Mary definitely has your ear. If we are pushing for a "strenght" alliance and you are going to bring in a strategic player right under our noses...

Yes, he had a couple of missteps this week as well, but I think the position he took last week by showing favor to Mary is what caused the strength alliance to crumble.

I don't think that was a misstep for David though. He wanted Mary as a part of the strong 6 which there then shouldn't be an issue having a visibly close relationship with someone in your larger alliance. (See Joe and Eva) David got paranoid because 2 of the "strong 6" were trying to align interests with someone outside of their 6 while still claiming to be loyal.

David read the game extremely well. His down fall was his delivery was grade A ****** bag and his show boating in challenges was cringe worthy. I think taking David out before Mary was a smart move (for the other big players) because Mary isn't driving the game. She is (to this point) just a number to vote.

To your point though, I do think his stance with Kamilla and his skepticism of Kyle is ultimately what destroyed the alliance

Yep. Joe needed David for cover and now he's gone. I think the folks that aren't in the strong alliance along with Kyle and Shaheen will eventually make a move and go after Joe and Eva. Nobody will want to go up against them in a final. Unless Joe can keep winning immunities and Eva can use her idols for her own protection, they are toast.

Next episode sets up to be very interesting.

Shauhim, Joe, Eva are aligned and probably think they have Kyle
Kyle and Camilla are aligned
Mary is a free agent
Star voted for Mitch

I don't love anyone's game play right now, it could be wide open with Mitch and Eva being most likable people remaining.

On the podcast, Rachel went ahead and told it like it was for David - "don't be a sore loser after a challenge".

I was hoping today a big move would be pulled. Hope strikes again…

I gotta say - the immunity challenge stacking the letters on the wobbly board. I'm not sure I could finish that in my own house in the span of 24 hours, much less on a beach in the wind with Jeff Probst yelling.

It's getting pretty late in the game for Kyle-Kamilla to do something special. When either one of them starts pitting themselves against the rest of the remaining players on who can win in front of a jury, only Kyle seems to have the potential to talk a good enough final address to the jury. And even then, does your case stack up against Joe's extended immunity run, Eva or Mitch's personal journeys to be here, or Shauhin's obvious likeability and solid game play?

The jury makeup and how they got there also has to be concerning some people. Especially for Joe. Seems unlikely David or Chrissy will vote for him, and Star seems very Team Eva. Cedric might vote for a cameraman or a tree given his wishy-washiness. You almost wish Sai was on the jury if you're Joe, at least she recognized game players.

While I thought Star was funny and made for good TV, she can't rap very well.

I was hoping this vote would throw a curveball. Sadly, it looks like the alliance still holds strong.

Kyle, Kamilla, Mary and Aggie Mitch need to ally and knock the others off. Kyle would win easily w/ that group of losers.

Poor Eva isn't going to know what hit her.

Have any advantages or Immunity Idols been played this season? Mary used her Shot in the Dark.

Sad to see Star go. She was a bit hard headed at the end, but I liked her....even though she can't rap very well.

Unfortunately Mitch feels like a passenger at this point. He could make the final 3 and get no votes.

At any point here, Kyle just has to come back from the voting booth and whisper to whoever the target isn't "Someone blocked my vote, this is bad." to create plausible deniability that he didn't switch. The core 4 will think someone played that and an extra vote to get one of them out. IDK why he won't do it.
