I presume they have completed season 49 filming and are doing 50 now? Or both are in the can?

I believe the S50 contestants are flying out today.

I think this is a great cast. I think the most deserving returnee is Chrissy from season 35.
Chrissy should have won that season, but the guy who ended up winning found an insane amount of hidden immunity idols. She's one of the great M-ILFS of Survivor lore.
Chrissy was the best player that season, and if the game was Survivor, instead of Treasure Hunt she would have won.

This will be the first all star season for any of the new era Survivor seasons.
Survivor should also think about doing another second chance season.

I would love to see a season full of players that didn't make the merge, or that were the 1st or 2nd people voted out of their tribe.
This would give some obscure players a chance to rewrite their legacy ala Boston Rob, Parvati or Amber.
None of those 3 players did that great their initial time playing the game. They all became Survivor legends their 2nd time playing.

Love they got Jonathan the Giant back out there. We went to Gulf Shores (where he's from) the year he was on and joked about running into him and then saw him 2 days later on the beach.

Most excited for: Christian, Chrissy, Charlie, Coach (just for the confessionals), Rick, Genevieve, Dee (could win again), Kyle, Jenna, and I'm genuinely curious to see if Colby redeems himself from his heroes vs villains flop

I'm honestly not very excited for Ozzy and Cirie. Both are obvious, absolute legends… but I don't think either of them has a shot to win or make it particularly far. Was very excited for both of them when they came back for 34… but that should have been their final time. Also not excited for another Aubry season.

I agree with your last sentence. Aubry has never done it for me....but she does make for good tv.
I think its good to have some old school survivor players for season 50. People that you haven't seen on TV for 15 or 20 years now......

Have any of the season 50 cast won the show? Or will all these returning players be shooting for their first victory?

I think Dee and Kyle are the only winners on the season. I'll be curious if they're targeted early.

Ozzy was alwasy a favorite, but shocked after his Only Fans he was invited back.

I'm not a fan of Redemption Island, but I thought it was a good idea for Survivor 40. These players were all winners and legends in their own right. These champions of the game deserved to be on TV for more than 1 episode...even if they were one of the first players voted out.

Even as a type this.....I'm not sure if I want Redemption Island or any of the gimmicks. There is a part of me that wants to see an old school Survivor season with minimal gadgets and tricks.

I've met people like her in real life.
If anyone ever tells you that they are really rich.....its always a red flag that probably don't have any money.

Most people with a lot of money don't want anyone knowing except for people that are in their same social class.
The less people that know you have money...... the less people can that can borrow from you or rob you.

I also think they kind of screwed the 48 contestants… They are easily going to be the biggest threats right away since all the players just watched them make the final four. Kamila and Kyle are going to have a rough time.

I am kind of surprised to not see Yam Yam if they wanted a new era male winner… he's the biggest personality of them and his season wasn't represented

I'm sure they'll try and split up the common season folks. No way Kyle and Kamilla start on the same tribe.

I will be rooting for Charlie. He's one of the best to not actually win.

Many have done back to back at 38 days.

Malcolm and Russell off the top of my head.

I think there are a few weeks in between.
