How long do you want to ignore this user?

Transcript of Joe's reasoning to Probst

Jeff, you know, all my kids are watching, I going to be the man I want them to be and the people I want them to be regardless of the game.

That's what you do and that's who I am.
If it exposes it, it exposes it, but she was in need and I would want someone to treat my daughter that
way in this game.

On a lighter note, when you watch the clips, once the emotional swell passes, it's pretty obvious Aggie Mitch is smiling quite a bit thinking they're a few hours from Sai going home LOL

On the On Fire podcast, Probst related the story that he was in NYC hanging out with his grown children and showed them the Joe/Eva scene. They were both really moved until he got choked up on the show, and then they just died laughing at him.

It is rare that the most genuine and likeable person ends up winning Survivor, but I'm sure pulling for Joe. That was a very powerful scene between him and Eva.

Great episode. What a triumphant moment for Eva to complete the challenge after the overwhelming frustration. And then Joe coming in to save the day. Survivor at its best.

Can anyone explain why people on Twitter and Reddit love Sai so much?? I am begging these dummies to vote her out every single episode

She's great TV. A HORRIBLE tribemate, but great TV.

Star continues to surprise as a player I had pegged totally wrong at the start of the year who has come through and been remarkably compassionate. Her pep talk to Cedrec was really something last night.

Really hope the strong/loyal alliance makes a run at it. Although Kyle immediately let the camera know he's not really that into it. Joe + Captain Beardo + David + Eva all seem like genuinely nice people that respect loyalty and hard work.

But damn guys, a gallon of whole milk a day?

This season is off the rails.

A 13 person tribal council? Maybe my memory is just bad, but I can't remember that.

That challenge- unhinged.

Sai voting for Cedrick out of spite when she is in danger of going home was hilarious.

- A Meh episode. I'm glad they didn't overthink it; voted Charity off and broke up the six (6) tribemates. That was smart.
- Sai survives another day.
- Aggie Mitch is on the wrong side of the vote.... again.
- Star continues to grow on me.

As much as I dislike Sai, she's one of only 2 people smart enough to realize that Eva has to go. Although Joe would seem like the much smarter target.

Starting to lean towards Shauhin as my winner. There are more physical threats but he's the smartest of that alliance.

And he looks like Iranian Paul Rudd

The only downside is that Charity's "dirty hot" was starting to show.

Seeeeeeeya Sai! Nice to see her and Ced go. Probably the worst two players out there.

I think the producers are setting us up for a massive Shauhin meltdown when he eventually gets voted out. He was super-emotional when Thomas got blindsided a few episodes ago and was in total panic mode when he got ONE VOTE last night.

After the show ends, they should live stream a second version of the immunity challenge with just David and see how long he can last. Like someone on the show said, that was literally like watching Captain America do that challenge. Seemed like he could have held that thing for 5 hours without budging.

With unlikable Sai now out of the way, it will be really interesting to see how the game shifts towards a new target. I appreciated Chrissy blowing up the "alliance of the strong" last night at Tribal, although she should have waited until they were all there so she could get more people thinking about how tough it will be winning anything against the likes of Joe, David, Kyle, and Eva as you get deeper in.

Finally got caught up. Agree that Shauhin is going to panic and lose it at some point.

Luckily, Sai is not on the jury. But, it was genius in the previous Tribal Counsel disguising her writing to vote for Cedric and throw in some chaos.

I think Chrissy talked too much and put a target on her back. Kind of dumb because she really doesn't have that strong of alliance.

Speaking of talking.... there is way too much of it. We need more challenges. A Reward Challenge and a Immunity Challenge. I don't like this combining the two; they are doing way too much. Also, Camp life and Tribal Counsels are way too long. I realize that this was a double elimination but these Tribal Counsels are dragging on. Of course if they didn't interview Aggie Mitch so much it would go a lot faster.... haha.

Still loving me some Star and Eva.

PS. They're sure cleaning them up for Tribal Counsel, what is that all about? The orange team went to that crappy camp after the challenge, spent the day and went directly to Tribal, but they all looked clean; washed hair, make up, clean clothes. The Purple Team looked just as good... WTF?!?!?!?!?

That was asked on the last Survivor podcast by a fan. Jeff claims that the players are not given anything for Tribal. No makeup, no showers, no hair styling. So they're on their own to get clean as best they can. The dark lighting helps, I'm sure.

I call BS. I'm not technically savvy enough to do it, but I bet if you look at a picture of them on the beach after the challenge and then one at Tribal Counsel it would be obvious.

I understand your skepticism, but they didn't go straight from the challenge to tribal. They had plenty of time to freshen up. And Jeff specifically denied that the players receive any makeup or help from the crew. Take it up with him.

Part of it might be that they all have all of their clothes on from when they first got to the island, with the assumption that they might be going home. They don't wear those clothes throughout the day and in the challenges.

I think it is still a pretty good season so far.

Who's a bigger challenge beast - David or Jonathan from S42?
I vote Jonathan.

Johnathan in that one water challenge when everyone else was about to drown, remember? I don't see any video on YouTube but here is the EW recap

Interesting episode. Wild that no one other than David picked up on the Kyle-Kamila dynamic.

Chrissy couldn't keep her mouth shut during tribal council. She stupidly called out the power players and practically begged for a fight. They obliged her with a ticket to the jury. . Even had David ticked off and arguing with her at her by the end. It was one of the most epic self-destructs I've ever seen.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
That was an epic shot to the foot... not many people can single handedly piss everybody on the tribe off at the same time.... STFU Chrissy.

Kyle / Kamala have been exposed and Joe / Eva have to be broken up (though I like them both). Eva is gaining some power and I want to see how she gets her advantage under the cover of darkness next week. Like I said early though, who is going to be the a@@hole who votes off Eva?

As an aside, I saw some banter that at the reward, they were assigned seats.... And the chip bowl w/ the clue was sitting right next to Eva..... hmmmmm?

Still loving me some Star.

It's things like secret advantages in bowls at reward meals that influenced me to vote against "surprises" for this week's iteration of the 50th season of Survivor fan vote. Let's go back to the original Survivor formula, at least for one season.

Eva is going to be Joes downfall. She is a challenge beast and that's about it.

The integrity alliance won't last next weeks episode. David or Kyle are going to get blindsided. Which bodes well for our boy Aggie Mitch.

I was so glad Sai and Cedrik were voted off together. Genuinely 2 terrible players of the game.

I agree. Let them have to boil their water, and scrounge for food to eat. 39 days of hard survival with lots of backstabbing. I get tired of all the emoting, sob stories, feel good, and immunity gimmicks in the new format. It would be nice to see some old school cutthroat with fewer idols, harsher conditions, and some strong personalities like Colby or Rob or Russell or Tyson. I miss the food challenges where they have to eat gross stuff. Maybe even go back to Africa or Australia. I know from a production standpoint it is expensive, but this is the 50th season. Survivor can afford it.

Eva will be the downfall of Joe. Todays episode made it certain for me. She just can't read the game and is trying to hard to make everyone in the alliance like each other.
