Finished Don Quixote. That was a ton of fun. Made me laugh out loud a lot.
Currently listening to Don Quixote, the author's preface was an absolute hoot.

I've been trying to do this as well with King's older stuff, and was getting ready to try these exact two books next myself. I may go Christine and then Firestarter.

Christine has a weird POV shift. Starts out from one perspective, say 3rd person, then moves to 1st person, and maybe moves back for the third act. If I recall right from the one time I read that book back in the early 80s.

Empire of Silence (The Suneater #1) - Christopher Ruocchio
Took me some starts and stops to get through it, but I loved this. Looking forward to the next one. This first book may be one of the longer origin stories I've read.
Taking a break for a short vacation this week and will knock out a shorter historical novel since I don't own Suneater 2 yet.

Blood Over Bright Haven - M.L. Wang
Overall i really enjoyed it. I thought the magic system was really cool and the twist was pretty good. The first 90% of the book was great, the ending was just a little underwhelming i thought.
Fun little detour. Anyway, back to Sun Eater. Up next: Demon in White

Has anyone here read "A Confederacy of Dunces"? I started it once decades ago, but I didn't get very far. It may be a book that I needed a few more years on me to appreciate.
I may be ready to try it again unless I'm strongly warned off of it.
