How would appealing the dismissal work? Dems tie up Republicans with law fare. Do the same thing to Fauchi. Make him spend the millions he made off Covid.

Kind of depends on what the order of dismissal says is the reason for the dismissal. That would be a final judgment subject to a proper appeal. But grounds for the appeal would be determined by the order of dismissal.

Pirro's call. She doesn't like to lose either.

Its always the US attorney's call.

And not pursusing charges is the WRONG call. Any US Attorney that does not bring charges because they "don't like losing" should be run out of town on a rail!

What is the case that says a autopen pardon is valid?

This is FAR from a clear issue.

I agree. Just being practical about the sad state of the federal judiciary in general and in DC in specifically.

Pirro has had her hands full dealing with Judge Bozo overseeing a grand jury and shutting her down. No reason to expect her convening a grand jury targeting Fauci would fare any better..

Lying to Congress would be heard by a DC federal district court. My guess is such a court would dismiss charges against Fauci on the basis of the pardon in a heartbeat.

Not a reason to not charge him.

Pirro's call. She doesn't like to lose either.

She must really enjoy stepping on rakes then. She's been no-billed four times that we know of (once for the sandwich guy, three times for the Sidney Reid case). That has to be a record for any USA for an 18-month stretch, and some sources say the actual number is closer to eight no-bills. Hopefully someone has told her to "no no, dig up, stupid!"

Are you defending Judge Boasberg? Because he is her main tormentor. And he should be impeached and removed from the bench for his actions.

No, these all happened before Boasberg got involved. His involvement is a separate matter.

It's an admission of their guilt

this theory only holds if they plead "pardon" in court.

You also don't have to have committed a crime to receive a pardon.
