Man give it a rest. Trump is part of the "deep state", maybe not to the extent of other polished politicians, but he is no different than the ones you're describing. The handling and messaging on this Epstein ordeal cost him not all, but the majority of his credibility with his base which is mostly made up of reasonable American people.

I applaud you that you're able to believe in the President so much that you think he is on your team, but he is not and has never been. He is Team Trump, which is okay, so is every other high level politician and business person. But this constant goaltending and justification from both sides in defense of their chosen Actor (which is what every politician is) is the reason we are in the mess that we are in as a Country.

Weird takeaway, given the Venn diagram of people still all in on this Epstein thing and the people who supported every disproven 2020 election claim are near perfect overlapping circles.

The issue here isn't that many people treat politics as a team sport, that's always been true and is neither surprising or interesting. The relevant issue here is that a subset of the Trump/republican base values deep state conspiracy theories more than actually accomplishing things in the real world. I wouldn't say there is "no evidence." There's a lot of witness statements and circumstantial evidence that makes it very likely there is at least one perpetrator that can be identified in all of those files.

Some of us want answers/transparency on the Epstein stuff but acknowledge the PROVEN 2020 election claims (of open FBI and intel interference in the election).

I'm honestly not sure if I will ever waste my time voting again. What's the f-ing point? AT BEST, electing certain republicans just slightly slows down the car headed for the cliff. Peddled? No. They were suspicious as many people here were, where the circumstantial elements could be seen and where it seems suspicious. They all voiced those suspicions as OUTSIDERS. Then they became high ranking government justice officials and had full access to the ACTUAL data and records and evidence, or at least what the DOJ currently has.
