This was an address to the nation due to his tanking approval rating. I guess he thought he needed to remind is of all the good he's done and all the bad he rescued us from.

He gave a 20 minute update. Something most all strategist were saying was actually overdue.

But instead of saying "man, the guy I supported, voted for 3 times, really is killing it and I am glad he reminded the Nation of the fantastic job he is doing."

Supports do NOT say "I voted for him but he's just rambling about his victories and that is just not necessary. He should be quiet and let the Dems and their complicit MSM do all the talking".

A good politician NEVER stops campaigning. That IS leading, because accomplishing goals requires power, and power only comes by marketing yourself to the people. Democrats learned this from Obama.

I'm happy with all of those outcomes, but I'm already in his camp. When you're a president giving an address to the nation it's an opportunity to build support. I don't think he did that.

Pretty big deal…

I thought it was pretty good.

Short - a positive - but covered problems that Biden created and provided detail via the charts about how the trends are headed the right direction now.

Bombastic in parts but that's to be expected.

The main thing I found confusing was his explanation for reducing health insurance. Some nice theory but no explanation as to how we're going to get there.

Speech won't matter if health insurance premiums for folks jump thousands of dollars per year between now and the midterms.

I get many people don't stay as plugged in, but if anyone was actually wondering what this was about, Karoline said immediately it would be about his accomplishments and setting the stage for 2026.

Gingrich is saying it was the biggest speech of either Trump terms. Not sure if Newt is looking for a Lincoln Bedroom invite, but even I think that is a bit over the top.

Trump is gearing up for another round of Fight, Fight, Fight.
