Look at all of the folks upset that he didn't announce that we're going to war.

It was a well delivered strategic speech, but I wanted to be surprised with something astonishing like the end of the war in Ukraine or some hard proof of other wordly alien contacts after all of the speculation in this thread.

He also actually did a great job of sticking close to what was written in the speech…

Glad they're getting it. Nice gesture going into the holidays. But to his point, that's not going to resonate in any way with a large portion of the voting public. Like it or not, most civilians aren't going to care because they won't see it as anything that impacts them and therefore not a big deal.

Because he is not. And see you throw that out there because it was Biden who was in cognitive decline and y'all know it so you're trying to get even with us even when you have to make it up because he is not in cognitive decline.

They're getting tax cuts and he is going to get them $ to shop for their own, affordable healthcare…

That damn sure will resonate…

Could be worse.

Much, much worse. It's really the only thing that matters in a presidential election, or any really. Don't make the perfect the enemy of the good, or less bad in the case of politicians.

I've voted Republican my entire life since it's always the better decision. There's never an excuse to vote for a democrat, but we can always vote for better Republican.

A year into his presidency and he's still campaigning. At what point will our President quit the blame game and start leading?

He's going over his accomplishments. Leaders do that. You ever listen to a coach after a big game? A CEO after a great earnings report?

And hell yea he is still campaigning because there are always elections. I thought you libs were just celebrating all your November victories and now you want his to not brag about his winnings in advance of the 2026 midterms?

All next year is going to be one YUUUGE Trump campaign video. I personally cannot wait.

You're such a Trump lover. Leaders DON'T do that. Egomaniacs do that. I have listened to a coach after a big game. The good ones talk about how hard the boys played or how the assistant coaches really had them ready, not how great a coach "I am.". I voted for him because the alternative was terrible, but his constant self pats on the back are embarrassing

You just don't like that things are going well and that he is succeeding. It's ok that Trump is doing great and you have to listen to it too!

You have more faith in that holding the attention of the average American than I do. Especially the swing voters that need to be captivated and energized to vote R in next year's mid-terms.

LOL like Obama didn't give speeches crowing about his accomplishments, or Clinton. Biden wasn't really capable of it too often and certainly not without massive medical doses but to pretend like leaders don't do this... really everywhere at high levels is gaslighting in the extreme.

he very obviously is to anyone who doesn't have their head stuck in the sand, all you have to do is compare him today to any speech of his from 3+ years ago.

This was the fastest, most concise and direct speech coupled with graphs that I've ever seen from a POTUS. Are you really trying to say that this displays cognitive decline?! I know youre a looney lib but should we be checking your own cognitive decline if youre actually that deep in TDS?

All good, would like to see them tackle health care cost, it's absolutely ridiculous what Obama strapped onto Americans and nothing has been done but premiums keep going up. ACA is pure trash

Be careful what you wish for. There are now two competing proposals on the table...the Democrat version of more of the same and the Republican version with some incremental fixes...but not a full repeal. This thing needs to be killed. It's a friggin abomination.

Let me remind you of some lies.

You won't get Covid if you take the vaccine. This was accompanied by violation of our Nuremberg Code right to informed consent under threat of loss of livelihood, liberty and freedom.

My son didn't make money from this. Shortly thereafter son was convicted of evading taxes on the money he made.

The Fed driving down short term rates in an inflationary environment due to pressure from the president is more likely to push up long term rates (including mortgages) because of the increased term premium that bond investors will demand if they believe the Fed isn't committed to controlling inflation.

Bessent has been in Trump's ear on this all along, but you can't control Trump.
