This is exactly the issue low IQ people will spend hours of their time and massive amounts of energy getting worked up over.

Oh we can already see in this thread that some are giving this WAY more attention and detail than actual policies that impact our lives.

Did Trump 'meme too hard' this time? Absolutely. Was it unnecessary? Definitely.

Is it amusing to watch a bunch of agnostic or non-religious people that have supported morally questionable politicians for years all of a sudden care about an inappropriate comparison to Jesus Christ and demand better morals from our leader? Yeah, it is.

Exactly.

The exact same people who thought it was hilarious watching a cartoon of Trump butt ****ing Satan are pretending to be outraged by this.

It's incredibly easy not to take these people seriously.

The back half of this thread is basically people claiming he wasn't portraying himself as Jesus and others pushing back on that claim.

If folks had it in them to simply type the bold part of your post, this discussion would have started trailing off already.

A lot did. Even on page 1. Others won't let it go because they think they have a "gotcha". They don't.

I was about to say the same thing.

There was nearly universal condemnation from page 1 on.

My favorite post about this today is from The Daily Wire (not a liberal outlet), liked by the actor who portrays Jesus in The Chosen. It is what it is.

Yep that one was good.

I never had Trump pegged as a Christian, but I do expect better than this. Had high hopes that he would change for the better after his near death experience in Butler, and that he may actually form a relationship with Christ, but he has gone even further off his rocker.

He's unhinged and a losse cannon...but still better than all democrats and most republicans, which is what should really concern everyone.

You mean, like, a higher YoY cost of living and lower YoY job openings, especially for industries that historically employ men.

Maybe we can take a break from the typical discourse about Trump's poor and unproductive economic policies to poke some fun at his inane social media presence.

Honestly it's just another day that ends in 'y' on here with people acting like the world is on fire because of Trump.

Like with most things, the answer lies somewhere in the middle, but obviously isn't nearly as useful or entertaining for certain people.

Now the person who literally posted "It was a dumb thing to post, but..." on Page 1 also seems to have missed the point of my post.

Trump never passes up a chance to shoot himself in the foot with moderates and independents.

True, but at long as his maga love him, he'll "take the hit" Oh them going "he's not someone I think it as moral, ethical, decent, or even actually a Christian, BUT..." and in the end, that's all that matters.

I mean, the man said he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and he wouldn't lose one follower. His maga continues to leave little doubt.

Epstein and Iran have cost him a lot of MAGA.

1. Dumb. and 2. Not true.

His polling over Iran is strong. It could be a problem if it goes much further though.

The only people angry at Trump for Epstein are the leftists and a few whacked out conspiracy alt-rights. This is a psyop by the left.

Hahaha keep telling yourself that.

Trump is finished. I bet he's lost 25 percent of his"true supporters" not even just people who held their nose. All it takes is having eyeballs and ears to see that.

Fan fiction. He will be popular from his base for the next 20 years.

Do people on here really not remember the past 11 years? Trump doesn't ever really lose his support. It took one massive 4 year highly controlled psyop (Russia ops + BLM + Covoid + two phoney impeachments + 8 states pulling off a never again voter fraud) to get him to lose an election.

He will pick between Rubio and Vance in three years and that person will win in a landslide.

President Donald Trump posted an AI-generated image, apparently of himself as Jesus Christ, on Truth Social Sunday night, sparking outrage from former Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene and other social media users.
The image, which was shared without a written comment by the president, showed Trump donning a traditional white robe and red sash and healing a man while surrounded by four adoring people, including a nurse and a soldier.

Donald Trump has shared an AI-generated image depicting himself as Jesus Christ, after calling Pope Leo "terrible" in an unprecedented attack on the leader of the Catholic Church.
In the image, the US President appears in red and white robes. His outstretched hand is healing a sick man, dressed in hospital clothes and laying in a bed. Rays of light come out of his hands.
An American flag flutters over President Trump's shoulder, who is surrounded by two men in military camouflage, a nurse, and a praying woman. Eagles and fighter jets fly by. Depictions of what appear to be fighter pilots are ascending in the sky, where angels may typically be in a scene.

The reaction to the meme is just as stupid as the meme.

Obviously, Trump is not actually comparing himself to Jesus. He's not miraculously healing people or offering eternal salvation. He's never said he is and obviously doesn't claim to be doing that. He said he thought it depicted him as a doctor. Regardless, its a meme.

He is drawing an analogy to a healer healing the government. He's a politician. He sees healing the government as the most important part of his job. And in the meme world, it's "miraculous".

It was a stupid idea, but like Vance said, one of the best things about Trump is that he is unfiltered and real. It wasn't his idea originally, but he obviously liked the idea and reposted. Not sure who altered the original, but I doubt Trump had anything to do with that.

Which is the real problem with Trump. He is a megalomanic, no doubt, But with that negative comes some positive stuff, like guts to go against the corrupt forces that have taken over the country such as the main stream media and the government swamp who have robbed Americans by the trillions.

Me too friendo! As someone who doesn't put much value on the blasphemy angle (although it is HUBRIS) I have to actually chuckle at the dark irony of him "healing the sick" a week, just a WEEK, after saying "We cant to Medicare we cant do Healthcare because we need that money for war". TFF!

"faking a picture of himself as a doctor". A doctor in loincloth with rays of light in his hands. The Trump administration probably laughs their asses off at how easily their obvious lies are gobbled up as truth.

At least things are more expensive because we are trying to eliminate the problem of terrorists with nuclear weapons instead of because of "climate change", and its likely to be temporary. And whatever incompetency this is, it pales in comparison to the previous "we hate America so let's open the borders to every unvetted human alive" administration. So yeah, there really was no choice.
