The entire Democrat party platform is based upon America being a racist, homophobic, sexist, bigoted nation where expanded government programs, open borders, and embracement of Socialism and entitlements and killing the only completely innocent persons (the unborn) are the path forward. I would never vote for their party. It just makes me sad that our only other choice for President was a mean spirited, thin-skinned, narcissistic carnival barker. I agree (again). Obviously this stuff can get you wound up and disheartened. When you are nearing retirement and watching your portfolio drop significantly, and when you have a military age son who is finishing school and looking for work in an already difficult economy, you tend to watch these things more closely.
This country has so many problems that deserve our attention. It would be really nice to have an adult start paying attention to them. He got off to a good start, it seems he's gotten sidetracked with foreign policy in a way that is less than helpful.

No, he can't run again, and that's a good thing IMO. Support him or not, he didn't do Republicans that are running this November any favors with this stunt. It just energizes the left to go out and work against them to get back at Trump. He'll be extraordinarily lucky to avoid getting impeached repeatedly over the next two years. His ego is overshadowing the good will he's built up with his policies and by beating back the left time and again. He needs to shut his big mouth and go back to work and quit alienating his supporters.
