There's no reason why we shouldn't win.akm91 said:
Win against Costa Rica makes it so much easier to get into the semi's.
Yeah, shame that is the first match, it really is they key one.akm91 said:

On paper sure we should. However, due to players not being release this team is nowhere close to full strength. Aaronson and McKenzie both moved to Europe and are not released. Robinson was not released by Atlanta. That's your starting CB pairing and your #1 playmaker not available.Look guys... said:There's no reason why we shouldn't win.akm91 said:

curious about who they brought and didn't bring, but that's the hill they chose to defend.
Heck, every country in the world has players that aren't released, shouldn't be an excuse. EVER.akm91 said:On paper sure we should. Costa Rican players are in mid-season form and many of the players actually play on the same team which are two big advantages.
There is concern on lack of players with creative playmaking abilities, especially in midfield, that may be a big issue.
I guess we shall see what Kreis has seen in camp to leave out some of the players that he did.

Just saw a Tico get booked for a dive in the penalty box.

I've certainly seen a lot worse u-23 games.
Not the flow with the Olympics. It's the problem with our youth development and we're finally catching up. Next cycle, the national team won't be Olympic eligible for a change.Look guys... said:jeffk said:

True and that's the flaw with the Olympics. Our national team is practically a u23 team.
I failed you.fig96 said:Quote:

Just a note that these look to be EST and not CST times, missed the first half today![]()
All the U-XX competitions, including the Olympics, are flawed as you never have best U-XX represented. The problem isn't with the Olympics.Look guys... said:
Absolutely there's a flaw. The best U23 worldwide aren't released.
My second sentence had nothing to do with the flaw.
