Speaking of Leicester City, because I'm a terrible human being I checked the "most likely to get sacked next" odds this morning and the leader was Rodgers with Cooper in second place. Now the odds basically have Cooper as a dead man walking at 1 to 4 odds. (For the non-degenerates, that's like saying 80% chance he's next).

Not often anyone can say with confidence that a man with 1 win and 4 points after 8 games deserves a contract extension but I think it's warranted. No one expected them to go up last season and the owners literally overhauled the ENTIRE team. They might has well be a completely new club/expansion team that was thrown together in the last 3 months and told to compete in, arguably, the best and most competitive team in the world.

Good for Cooper. I takes months to bed in just a few players some times let alone 22.

There is probably a relegation clause in the contract but also a big bonus if he keeps them up.

Have a look at Bournemouth. Fired their manager after he blamed a lack of talent in the team following a 9-0 loss. Since then they've gone undefeated taking 9 points in their last 5 games. 2nd worst GD in the league (thanks 9-0) but in 8th place.

I don't think I've ever seen a dismissal vindicated quite so abruptly and obviously as Scott Parker's. I'm not sure Bournemouth want to sign Gary O'Neil permanently as manager but if he keeps this up, I don't see how they can't.

Crystal Palace is such an interesting team. So athletic. Top individual dribblers. Sometimes that works and sometimes they are carved apart and isolated. Zaha has looked like a best 11 level winger out there today.
