Too old and slow at key positions and an inability to finish the chances we created.

Also, Napoli is a pretty good counter-attacking team.

Good point.

As a Leipzig fan I was glad to see that we played bravely and made a real game of it. No question that Madrid probably wasn't playing to their full capabilities, especially in the first half, but I was glad to see a positive approach from Leipzig from the get go. Rose has been coach for all of 6 days so I wasn't sure what to expect in that regard.

What the hell was the Dortmund defender thinking by not closing down Cancelo?

It's a great assist and maybe even better finish (very Zlatan-esque) but Cancelo had all day to pick out that pass.
