Man Dhabi absolutely fell asleep on the equalizing goal. Then the Leipzig keeper made a great save to keep it level. Leipzig should be a bit disappointed that they played so defensively at home.
It was a tale of two halves. They were woeful in the 1st and far more aggressive in the second. 1st half possession was 80/20.

Sorry since the game ended every English speaking pundit has talked ad nauseum how Liverpool lost rather than what Real Madrid did to them. It's like this isn't some plucky upstart. Real Madrid has proven time and time again that mostly dead isn't good enough. They have to be all dead.

That's what I don't understand, a Chelsea player was a good 3 yards into the box at the time of Havertz striking the ball. Was the decision only because Reyna was also in the box by about a yard and was the first to touch it?

Just the way the laws are written. Encroachment by the defense causes a missed kick to be retaken. Doesn't matter if there's also an attacking player there.
