Yeah, knockout always starts in Feb but group usually lasts through Dec.

We played pretty well in midfield all game but had no creativity in the final 3rd. The possessions would go like this:

Possess Ball
Pass it back
Swing it around
Try some Triangle Passing
Pass it back
Swing it around
Try some Triangle Passing
Repeat

It wasn't until we got that goal that things started opening up a bit in the final third for us. PSG just packed the middle of the field and dropped everyone back the first 55 minutes or so till that goal by Coman.

But then those counters by PSG had our heads spinning. Got lucky on that offsides call and Sommer made a couple big plays. Happy to get out with a win, but if we have to play a healthy PSG in 3 weeks who have their ears pinned back, I have a feeling our backline will get shredded. Luckily it'll be at Allianz

I missed the whole first half, but I posted in that stretch around 60' where Bayern were getting a lot of shots on goal.

At that point it was like 6-0 in terms of shots on target. Crazy how quickly and completely things changed.

No cup ties, but they do have a limit of 3 new players added to team registration after the Jan window.

And yes, Henry is horrible.

I mean you need a straight (ish) man but he's just a sack of flour sitting there. I think Schmeichel is pretty good and you could bring him into the studio but you probably want an attacking player in the lineup.

The show will always have an EPL bias, and rightly so, but I think having that seat go to a non-Brit with minimal EPL ties would provide a different perspective.

I think getting a former coach would be preferable, although I agree that an attacking player provides balance too.

I disagreed with him a lot, but overall I liked Martinez there… certainly compared to Henry.

If they went the attacking player route, I think I'd like to see Michael Ballack there. For coach, I'm honestly not sure. Maybe Jesse Marsch
