Job done. Wasn't pretty but I bet we don't undershoot our xG like that often. Next game is a tough one.

Still think she was the best player at the WC in 2019 and was absolutely robbed of the Golden Ball award

Don't teams in your group usually play on the same day?
I think it's weird that Netherlands plays on Sunday then on Wednesday. We get 2 more days of rest than them.

Denmark seems pretty technical on the ball compared to what we watched last night
Euro teams were getting more technical on the ball than us back in 2019. The money invested by big soccer teams into their women's teams has really helped propel them forward.RebAg13 said:

3 matches a day let's you play 3 groups in 2 days. They have a lots of group games and this shaves 6 total days off the schedule. It's the price of a 32 team tourney.Grapesoda2525 said:

Rapinoe is 38 and it was already evident in 2019 that she had lost a step against younger competition
She is a liability out there….i hope vlatko doesnt play her against the netherlands
She looked old and stiff. A real liability against any opponent with talent or physicality.PatAg said:gambochaman said:

Just feel like it would only make sense to bring her in at like 70min, and only if trailing or tied in knockout rounds. That way you limit your chance she is exposed for pace or fitness, and can just be in to whip in crosses
