I understand that LBJ is a physical specimen, but the ease in which OKC let's him get into the paint/down low is startling. He's doing all of his damage within 15 feet, but Thabo is not doing much to body him out of there at all.

Yet, there's still something about him that says he's not quite there yet. I can't put my finger on it. He's one of the three best players in the league, but you can hardly feel him imprint/presence on games every now and then, and this is also taking into consideration his 35+ point games.

All of his big games are "quiet" big games and I'm not sure that's a good thing.

Regardless, no skilled perimeter player has ever has that dude's height/wingspan combination. His ridiculously long arms allow him to do things that I'm not sure any elite scorer has ever even had the potential to do. He looks like he should be the most uncoordinated retard on the planet and yet he he has incredible ability to harness his akward body type.

I agree completely about the quiet big games. He is like the only guy that you can look up and not realize they have dropped 30 points.

I think a lot of it is how efficient he is and some of it is how he doesn't really draw attention to himself. He isn't going to take a bunch of time backing someone down in the paint or throw down the super monster dunk like Vince or Bron. But he scores 30+ all the same.

I didn't. He had one "I'm the best player in the ******* world" game in that series. Two if you count game one of the Finals. A player of his ability needs more than those.
