How many dynasties or championship teams have been "organically built"?
The Spurs and maybe some early Celtics or Lakers teams.

Early 2000's Lakers were built around free agent Shaq
90's Bulls had Pippen and Rodman who both came from trades
Late 2000's Lakers with a Pau trade.
2008 Celtics Garnett & Allen brought in.
2004 Pistons brought Rip Hamilton and Billups as free agents

Could go on for a while. Very few teams are built organically, let's stop pretending this is the first team built from free agents.

I think the issue is that none of those teams had the same type of hubris the Heat did when their teams were "assembled"

Sonics drafted Pippen for the Bulls. It isn't like he was playing a few years then traded for.

That's like saying the Lakers traded for Kobe. They traded for that pick, but they chose Kobe, which is why they traded for the pick. Neither was a known quantity in the way Bron/Bosh were when they signed with Miami.

there is no "protection" clause if you are half the size of the guy attacking the rim on a flagrant. Fisher clearly initiated unnecessary contact.

That's flagrant if you're a vag.

If anything, Bron lowered his shoulder into Fisher's chest, which is unnecessary from a basketball standpoint.
