Wonder if Ibaka is thinking Lebron can't play defense right now.

no call on Perkins there.

how many turnovers is that for Mario? add one to the pass he forced to wade on the early turnover.

OKC needs to gather themselves on D. Lots of flat feet.

Are we TexAgs users going to get to see gifs of that foul just called on Wade for the rest of this thread?

exactly what I was thinking. the .gif of the foul on Mike Miller there would be interesting to see too, considering ABC doesn't want to show questionable calls against Miami...just OKC.

You had to assume going in to this series that Miami would have at least 1 home blowout game. The difference is crunch-time in games 2,3,4

At this point, how do you avoid being a fan of Lebron? He has spent the year going quietly about his business, played all 5 positions, devoting himself defensively, makes all the right plays, MVP and first team D, and answered all the critics in the finals.

well, without a doubt the refs are the only thing keeping OKC semi-close in this game.

Not saying the refs are biased towards OKC...but FT's are the only think helping the Thunder.

Still plenty of time.

Best player in the game means roughly 50% hatred.

The number will fall after he gets his ring, and even more-so after his career ends.

I think everyone wants to like lebron. I kinda wish the heat would go down big and have lebron single handily bring them back.

Honest question.. does anyone here not like battier?

Perkins gets away with a moving screen on Cole, then called for one on the next play.

For the non-casual fan, little about Lebron's legacy changes with this win. He's playing on an inorganically built team with two OTHER top 15 current players. So that might take him from top 20 player to top 15 player of all time.

Early 90s MJ says Hi.

But I agree that it's very difficult to hate Lebron right now. It's a good redemption story.

Reminds me of 2000 Shaq finally getting his ring and recognition for doing things the right way.

Agree...another question...does anyone here not like Mike Miller?

Dude has been playing in major pain all season/playoffs. Would love to see him and Battier get a ring.

*Side question. Who is the chick who kisses all the players on the cheek in the hallway?

Heat ran out of gas at te end of that half.

How is a guy like miller not on strong pain killers?

Bulls were as much of an "inorganically built" team as this Heat team.

Early 90's MJ was still like Lebron in the first stage of his career...likely the best player in the league but still younger and not universally recognized as such, and liked in general(just like LBJ). As Jordan made it clear he was the best throughout the 90's, he got his "best player" hatred. Early 90's was Jordan year 6-8ish and he was on his way to having the hate. Lebron's hate didn't start up until 2 years ago, so about the same.

The top 4 scorers on the 90-93 Bulls were all drafted by the Bulls. And they were all drafted AFTER Jordan. So maybe their development has something to do with playing along side the greatest.

nice start to the half for OKC.
