Now Dirk AND Kaman together is a different matter. But with that lineup we'll score just fine, even if the pace is lacking.

Collision and Brand are fantastic pickups. Collision had 17, which I'd be willing to bet is more than Kidd put up all of last season

True. I'm just tempering expectations for myself. No reason to get excited until the team proves otherwise.

I do like a lot of the pieces we added (Collison looked great, Brand is a great value for what we got him for), I just don't know that it'll be enough to do much for us this year other than a token playoff appearance. Just get the feeling we're missing a true #2 scoring option for Dirk. Plus the bad thing about having everyone on one year deals is that next year we could be completely reassembling from scratch rather than simply looking for those one or two pieces to add to complete the puzzle.

As good as last night was tonight was piss poor. I'll chalk it up to a second night of back to back in the thin air of Utah. It will certainly be nice to see Dirk back on the court. A lot of our offense right now is flail toward the basket and hope it goes in.

troy murphy is horrible. id rather have eddy curry and that is saying a lot. curry played well in LA. is a BIIIIIG body that can bang down low, given kaman gets hurt every other game.
