We need to take these next two games against the east and then third against Utah big time
After that it goes clippers, pacers, bulls, lakers, nuggets before it times down some...
Schedule is probably too rough to overcome this deficit. With 15 games left going 11-4 we still have 39 losses. Even if we beat both Utah and the lakers that is still hoping that they lose 5 more games and go 7-6 overall to finish the season tied with us and us having the tiebreaker
Unlikely? Yes
Impossible? No
Gotta keep winning

It's really depressing thinking of how many games we have blown in the last minute alone. There has to have been at least 8 games we should have won. And I'm not talking about games that were just close and we should have won-obviously you are going to lose some close games. I'm referring to the games that were BLOWN by inexcusable plays, turnovers, shots, etc.
Collison has proven himself to be an inconsistent headcase this year. It would seem there is a reason we were able to acquire him. The first week or so, he was playing insanely great. Since then, not so much. Now, the best we can hope for is instant offense off the bench, but not really much PG duties.
Haha yea just saying last minute oj screw ups covers most of the games. But there have been multiple games where it's laughable how many times we can't even get a shot up in the last 2 mins or how many times we turn it over making a pass with 20 seconds on the shot clock when we should just be holding the ball
I couldn't agree more with the Vince Carter statement. Carter has played very well for us but that does not mean he should get last second looks. In a 1 on 1 situation the only results from giving Carter the ball will be a contested three pointer or a contested 18 foot fadeaway jumper. As much as I like Carter's play this year, it drives me insane that Carter is our "go to guy" in last second situations. There is a 0% chance we will get an easy bucket or a foul when we go to him.
Yep, mavs need to put together a 5-0 or 4-1 stretch here. They are trying to catch the Lakers, but also can't tie Utah, or they lose the tiebreaker there.
Got 3 tough games in a row coming up, but on a 2-0 streak right now. Lose these 3, season is officially over.
For the Mavs and Lakers, yes, I think it comes down to Western Conference record. If yall were in the same division, it would go to division record first I believe. But since yall are in different divisions, it would go to conference record. Don't quote me on that, but I think that's the process
It's so hilarious how mavs fans come crying when they get "jobbed" on a call, but Dirk pulls his best timduncan flop and they call that vintage Dirk...just another reason mavs fans are one of the worst fan bases in the NBA...
I don't like that dirk flop at all in fact I hate it....I am also one of the biggest mavs fans here, but if you want to argue one dirk flop over the many many clippers flops go ahead....that said I'm just leavin the game and I am so fricken pumped for this team!!! Gonna be a hell of a finish to the season!!!
Well, he did grab the back of dirk's jersey and pull, then he pushed him...still insane that he made the shot after. Apparently there is some justice in this world though, since they called a foul.
It would be nice for the lakers to lose another one tonight. It would also be nice for tonight's Houston vs pacers game to go into 19 OT's and they are depleted tomorrow against us!!!
