because mavs fans are bandwagons around here just like every fanbase

Because half the posts are shades and the other half are complaining about refs, even though they take more free throws than any other team.

Not really bandwagoners...just not much going on. Probably still follow the mavs and their wins just nothing big to really post about.

Not much to talk about with the Mavs this year. We knew going into the season that we were most likely looking at a 6/7 seed at best. That's not to say that Mavs fans are watching them less, it just means there is not that much to talk about. If this were a young and buidling team, there were probably be many more posts, but that is not the case.

I still love the Mavs, no one one has abandoned them as their favorite team. But we are a team declining from a Championship, as opposed to a team rising and aspiring to said championship. It's not surprising our excitement is tempered by expectations.

Now if we start to go on a run toward the end of the season and into the playoffs, you'll see plenty of posts I'm sure.

Part of being spoiled by 10+ years of great basketball is when you start to decline, you take a wait and see attitude. Show me something to get excited about.

I'm still on board.

We may not be a great team this year, but we are a ton of fun to watch. I really like this team and hope we can somehow move up to 5 or 6 seed so we have a shot to win a playoff series.

I think this team is good enough to make the playoffs and win in the first round. After that would take something major happening throughout the season.

Cant wait to play SA in the playoffs and beat them. Playoff Dirk gonna be INSANE.

The idea is to finish 5th, which is doable, thereby avoiding those 3 teams.

I'm having fun watching this team, honestly. Certainly more fun than the last 2 years.

Devin Harris is already helping - the split tandem of him and Ellis should be nice.

Think Ellis starts being a punk now that he's not the main man?

I don't have anything bad to say about Ellis so far this year, so I'm not expecting him to start acting differently. Harris has been playing well so far. Hopefully he can help a little at the defensive end.

From now until the end February the mavs play only 3 games against teams with better records than us, making a move now would be big for us.

Big game tonight. I'm betting big on the Mavs if Bovada will ever open the game up for betting.

Depends on how Ellis and Harris gel, honestly.

Man...first full game I've watched this year. Vince Cartrr drives me crazy and our D is God awful.

Calderon seems like a great 3 point shooter, but man his setup takes forever.

I wish we could go back to Dirk taking every shot in the last 5 minutes of games. If we're going to lose, I would rather lose with him taking the last shot vs. Jose taking 2 in the final 10 seconds.

i really realy really hope mark cuban goes back to being 2003 mark cuban and starts spending like crazy again and demanding trades.
