Dirk had the ball one on one and rockets came out for the double team and he passed to a wide open three point shooter who is shooting 45% this year.....it wasn't a bad play at all.

It's a shame when you waste a night by dirk like this but when your starting guards combine 5-22 on top of not giving much on defense that's what happens.

The last play was fine. They went to dirk. They doubled so he kicked it out for an open 3. But that was a tough one to lose considering dirks performance. Don't forget he also had 17 or 18 boards.

Dirk announced to the all star team.

Dirk, Dalembert, and the bench played great tonight! Solid win. Now hopefully we can cruise through this stretch against the east plus Utah until we hit the pacers and see what we can do!!

If Dirk plays in every game left (30) and keeps his scoring pace (22), that's another 660 points, which puts him top 10 all time in scoring.

Add another 1,700 points over the rest of the career and he's 6th all time.

Carlisle had a hilarious soundbite today where he compares Montae to Spider-Man.

"When he was out there for shoot-around I was like, 'what?' joking with the assistant coaches," Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said. "He's like Peter Parker, must have got bitten by that radioactive spider that put a jolt into his body where he's healed. He's just a phenomenal (healer)."
