White was a better offensive point guard last year than Murray has been so far. Not sure what that means for rotations, it's such a junky lineup on the perimeter right now. Murray and DeRozan is the worst shooting backcourt possible though, it won't work in the playoffs. Maybe start White and have Murray play the three on offense. If he has figured out a 35% corner three that might actually be a good lineup. He'd be a great secondary perimeter scorer who is more than capable of slashing to the rim and knocking in offensive rebounds if someone else can warp the defense first.
I dont think you can make any definite assertions right now about Murrays shooting. We havent seen him in a game since April of 2017. Supposedly hes been working on his shot the entire time. On a similar note, White also set some lofty goals to improve his 3 ball this summer. Both young guys could take huge leaps and transform this offense while being the best defensive backcourt in the league. It's not impossible.
