We have been in a group with season tickets for 4 years now. Renewal is not happening. Absolute clueless ownership/management. There was a big jump for this season as well, I think around 5 or 6%. GO STARS!

I wish, but unfortunately that won't happen. I would prefer an expansion team at this point. I don't even know how or if I will ever care about the Mavericks again if Dumont is around. Nico will obviously be gone soon, but his damage is done. Ironically an expansion team in 2029 would probably be better positioned to be good than the Mavericks once they bottom out starting in 2027 considering they won't own their own draft picks for 4 years. It will be bleak until they finally get to reclaim their draft picks in 2031. So at best you are looking at probably 2035 before they can be relevant again.
So who are the fans that will pay a premium for these raised prices? I don't think they exist. Go look on Stubhub right now and there are a ton of $5-$10 seats right before tip-off of this "important" game against Sacramento. This market is already collapsing and we haven't scratched the surface on how bad this team will get.

They are divesting from Vegas. They purchased the old Texas Stadium site and are getting it rezoned, in preparation for an arena/casino. If gambling fails, they'll sell. The Vegas stuff is nonsense.
They better hope the gambling vote takes place attached to a major election, because if it ends up on some slapdick May ballot with low turnout, there may just be enough pissed off Mavs fans to kill it
It's easy to be down on the team right now when the only real player draw is Kyrie and the team is an a rough stretch of losses because of not having any bigs.
AD and Lively are both likely to be healthy to start next season and they won't have any issues selling out games.
