Victor Wembanyama is the 8th player in Spurs history to score 50+ points:
— Jordan Howenstine (@AirlessJordan) November 14, 2024
David Robinson - 71
George Gervin - 63
LaMarcus Aldridge - 56
Tony Parker - 55
Tim Duncan - 53
Terry Cummings - 52
Larry Kenon - 51
Victor Wembanyama - 50
And we have shot more and a higher percentage (so far)Sports-Ag said:
I can be the wizards coach. Just got out there and shoot threes. That's all they are doing.

My biggest problem with Draymond Green is he didn't hit Jordan Poole enough.
The last 3 Spurs 50pt games came in overtime:
— Particle Man (@JesseGladsaget) November 14, 2024
LMA in 2OT (2019)
Parker in 2OT (2008)
Duncan in OT (2001)
This is the first time a Spur has scored 50+ in regulation since David Robinson dropped 71 on the Clippers to steal the scoring title from Shaq in '94
Or 26 depending on who you pay attention to. Lots of weird tweets about it.AA said:

Yeah, the TV announcers had it wrong. Duncan, Parker, and TheMarcus all did it in OT.Chipotlemonger said:Guitarsoup said:

Aldridge did it about a decade back IIRC.
Saw follow up post. Was it really just 2019?! I thought he had a 50 point one earlier for the Spurs than that.

Wasn't able to watch the game but once thing I have noticed form the highlights is that we have trouble putting teams away when we have a big lead. Maybe that just inexperience but it will be a problem later in the season especially if we make the playoffs.
Exactly right. At one point, our starters were all like +20 and our bench (outside Collins and Wesley) were all like -20. Devin shot 5-14/1-8 and he was like 0-8 or something at one point. Branham shot 4-6 but was -22 overall.2008and1 said:All I do is Nguyen said:

We still have rotations that can't create shots. We blew the first big lead when the bench group of: Branham, Collins, Vassell, Johnson, Wesley came in. Branham, Johnson and Vassell all took turns dribbling too much before missing a bad shot.
Getting Tre back will be huge. I also hope we can move Keldon at the deadline.
