Braves win again today with 7 runs in the 8th inning.

The sweep! Mac, Freeman, & Uggla homered as Maholm pitched well. 6-2 Bravos

Braves beat Marlins 11-3. Johnson had a good night. McCann, J Upton, Freeman, and Simmons also had multiple hits. Medlen with the W.

B Upton left with tightness in his forearm.

Varvaro and Wood with 3 combined innings in relief.

Also, Heyward, B Upton, and Uggla all had better June's. Their OBP's were, .370, .359, and .394.

Braves fall to Marlins tonight. Justin Ruggiano hit a 3 run HR for the Marlins. McCann with a HR for the Braves.

Schafer to the DL. Terdoslavich has been called up.

Kimbrel gives up a run in the top of the 9th and the Braves fall.

Only second home series to lose this year.

Big win for Hudson and the offense last night.

Only 1 All Star for the Braves, Kimbrel. Freeman is in the write in section, but it will be tough for him to beat Pugh.

Bryce Harper an All-Star starter with a .263 average and 28 RBI's.

I'd say blame the stupid fans but I voted a straight ballot with all Braves.

Braves fall to Phillies today and lose the series. Kind of limbing up to the All Star break right now.

Freeman was leading the fan vote as of this afternoon.

Braves beat Reds but lose Heyward to injured hamstring. Hopefully he won't be out long. We really don't need to lose anyone else.

Rough few days for our outfield

Starting OF tonight: 7 Constanza, 8 R Johnson, 9 Terdoslavich

Sucks about the injuries, but I saw Terdy last year when the Mississippi Braves came to Mobile. Kid can play.

Braves beat Reds 5-2. Our makeshift OF went 7-11 with 2 runs scored and an RBI.

Schafer's injury is worse than initially believed. He had a stress fracture in his foot and he will be out longer

BJ was put on the 15 day DL

Freeman out of today's game due to a thumb injury. He will also miss the all star game

All-Star break couldn't have come sooner.

McCann took Freeman's spot on AST.

The experts say we're in the hunt for left-handed relievers and maybe an outfielder to shore up the weak production from out there this year. The problem with that is that there aren't any LHRP that are worth giving anything up for this year, and I think we spent too much on this outfield to consider adding someone else to the rotation of Heyward, Upton(s), Gattis, and Johnson. If we make any moves, I think it'll be mostly minor-league stuff and just pray we can keep getting through the year with the relief staff we have and hope Venters and O'Flaherty are back to form for next year.

Other than that, they MIGHT trade for a LHRP, but if I'm the GM of any other team, I'm not letting us get him cheap. That's what concerns me.

Beachy probably just takes Hudson's spot. The question will be was that Hudson's last start as a Brave.
