Up 14.5 with 48 games to play. If the Braves finish 24-24, the nationals would need to finish 39-10, winning 80% of their games, to tie it up.
The Braves also play only 7 more games vs teams above .500, leaving 41 remaining games vs teams with a losing record. If we don't clinch home field it will be a huge wasted opportunity.

Uptons combined for 7 hits. Medlen looked good as well, just rough luck with hit timing. Keep winning boys!
Both Uptons are combining to hit around .400 during this winning streak. Awesome to finally be getting that production we expected, especially from BJ.

I've been hearing about it for months now, he can barely see the ball during the day apparently. They're hoping he can do it now and be back in time to get swings in before the playoffs.
It's absurd to me that we would play a guy who admits he can't see the ball. How on earth is that supposed to be a successful plan??

Braves fell to Mets tonight.
Braves beat Mets in 10 today but Heyward was hit in jaw by pitch and had to leave the game. No word yet on extent of his injury.
