Not saying that he has not been good for them. They were a playoff team last year. All that was needed were a couple tweaks. The talent was there. The way they make it sound is they went from last to first in a year due to some magical manager powers.
Edit: just like the whole Martinez/Astros storyline. He sucked. He was not an MVP caliber player. It wasn't personal, just part of the game. Getting cut may have made him work harder to get better. If thats the case then its on him for not working hard enough to keep his job.
