I haven't been able to watch today's game but, looking through the box score, I'm assuming it was a head fake, so to speak. Start a lefty to load up the Dodgers' lineup with right-handed bats and then bring in the righty. Just a hunch.

ETA: On second thought, my theory doesn't make sense either. Most of the Dodgers' are right-handed hitters anyway so who knows.

There are still some who platoon though, and this wouldn't be the normal lineup had they known it would be a righty. Even if it's only a few batters, it's pretty damn smart.
