Skimmed the thread. My wife likes very soft mattresses. Would this work? Why this vs the other options out there?

Our new Casper mattress arrived today. First impression is that it is firm in a comfortable way. Love that I can't feel the mattress move when the husband rolls over. I'm hoping it isn't too firm for me. Will see his I feel in the morning.

I'm about to cancel my Casper order. Mattress was ordered on 7/21. They still haven't shipped it so I used the chat feature to contact Casper for status. Boy was that a mistake! The rep would reply every 3-4 minutes and ask me an unnecessary question to stall. While chatting with the rep I called in and talked to someone and then got off the phone before the rep replied again. That's how slow the chat was.

Casper says they had a production delay on the mattress cover and that it might ship next week. Hopefully. They can't give a specific date and can't make any promises. I mentioned that I was going to talk to the wife and see if we wanted to cancel our order and go with a competitor instead.....they didn't care.

So much for the "startup" level of customer service.

So you're going to change your mind on a product you'll have for 10 years because it takes an extra week to get to you?

And if they don't know when the cover is going to be ready then how do you expect them to give you a date? You can force them to guess, but then you'll be upset when their guess turns out to be incorrect.

We had a similar delay. Their manufacturer of cover material is having delays they have no control over. Good news is that once ours shipped, it got here in one day (to Weatherford).

I'm not pleased with the fact that they charged my credit card immediately for the full amount. It was right before the billing cycle ended and I paid that credit bill in full yesterday. So I've now paid in full for something that I haven't received, hasn't been shipped to me, nor can they tell me when they will ship it to me. Given the fact that I was originally on the fence between Casper and Leesa I'm having second thoughts about my decision to go with Casper.

Perhaps they shouldn't charge people for the products they order until the order is ready to ship. You know....like most other companies do.

Although, pretty much everything I buy online gets charged immediately when I checkout and may not ship for a few days.

I asked about this too. It's because they don't keep inventory. Once you submit an order your mattress production starts. Or so I was told...

Looking to get the Casper but getting a lot of mixed reviews on platforms and durability. Amazon's wood and metal ones are a mixed bag. Anyone have a good experience with a certain platform? Wife and I are getting the king size Casper. Thanks.

Ours is on a standard box spring with slats under that. No complaints here

We got the metal stand from Amazon and put a sturdy box spring over it, then the king Casper. It's very steady. No complaints here.

Lol. I am really high on them but I have no stock. I did get some good money on referrals from this thread though. If I find a product I like I tend to talk about it to anyone that will listen. I think their business model and company is fantastic and it is nice to see a company try something different in a market that has been the same for a long time.

Is there a referral code for this too? Apparently I can save lots there, and I see a box for a promo code, so I didn't know if they also had a referral program.

I don't think there is a referral code but I am very happy with them so far. They cancelled my old company and the cancellation fee was $375 when they told me $175. Instead of denying they said that, they paid $200 towards my cancellation fee. Happy customer!

Edit: I just asked (they are super prompt with emails/responding) and if you give them my member #12013 they will give you a promotion when they have something in place. OK GOOOO!!!

We've been sleeping on the Casper for a week now. Man it's great! My back pain has been greatly reduced. I was planning to ask for the topper after two weeks but I'm not seeing any need to do that.

The price was right too. We had been avoiding buying a Tempurpedic due to the cost. Glad we waited.

It only gets better my friend. I never realized just how much pain I had in my back until I didn't have any. After 4 weeks on the Casper I have had ZERO pain and as a result I have more energy and it has probably contributed to my weight loss. I wake up everyday thankful for that mattress.

Looking at getting a new mattress in the next week or two and I think I will either go with a Casper or Yogabed

re: those referral codes, I can't for the life of me figure out how you guys are creating those links. I even talked to them about it but to no avail, even after being a "friend." What am I missing?

Log into your account on casper.com, click on 'Account' in the top right, click on your order #, and this should open up your order. There should be a blue button that says "Refer and earn $50". Click on that and a pop-up window should come up. Click on "Copy Unique Link" and then you can paste that link on Texags or anywhere else for that matter.
