Did you end up getting the Alexander? We have a Ghost Bed and will be likely returning it as it is too firm. I think we'll like the slightly softer feel of the coil-based Alexander.

Very close to ordering a ghost instead of a Casper (based off sleeptropolis reviews) but now you've got me second guessing....
That's what I based my decision on as well. It's a good bed, just might be a little firm for our liking. It also just may be an adjustment period thing as we've spent the last year on a softer bed.
LOVE the casper after one night on it!
I'm thinking Helix or Alexander. Aggiekatie2 wants something less firm. Was thinking Purple, but reviews look like firmness is similar to the Casper.
I think we are in the same boat. Alexander is probably next if we decide to switch from the Ghost Bed.
Just ordered a Casper. I look forward to sleep. 
We have an extremely soft mattress now and I hate it. Wife loves it. So I'm trying to go with something that is more middle of the road firmness wise
Me too. I will say the ghost bed is feeling better after a week.

Are there any reviews on long-term durability?
My Simmons foam bed has lost all firmness after 3.5 yrs.
And I know both Casper and ghost have 25+ yr warranties but those usually aren't enforceable.

Ordered ours yesterday and used Abilene's code. Supposed to be delivered this weekend. I can't wait. Our current mattress has been horrible since we bought it 5 years ago.

Just got mine in today. It's unpacked and ready for me to test out tonight. Just laying on it feels good. Then again, I had a 10 year old mattress that I paid $100 for brand new in college.

Consumer reports also rates Casper very highly for durability.
18 months or so on mine and I haven't even rotated it or anything and it feels as good or better than the day we unboxed it.
Pulling the trigger (finally) this week, keep wanting to go Casper since that's what the majority on here have bought and seem to like. I figure I might as well wait until a little closer to Labor Day to see if there are any sales/specials
