I opted for the Brooklyn Bedding version over the Casper. They offer a soft, medium and firm vs just one firmness. Quite satisfied.

Not flippable unless you wanted to take off the cover and individually flip each layer.

Just a heads up my order was from August. I talked to them and they gave me recommendations for a mattress topper from Amazon but I had to go buy it on my own. Maybe due to length of time I've had the mattress (ie not able to return anymore). Didn't realize how firm it really was until I went on vacation and slept on a much softer bed and loved it.

Still much cheaper than the store front mattresses and could probably make it work as is if I wasn't a bed snob.

Interesting. I got mine (they called it a "soft adjustment layer") in November. They did mention it was part of a pilot program so maybe they stopped doing them. I did pay $20 but it was worth it.

It's just a shipping fee. I dunno. Doesn't bother me. I love my mattress and I have enough refferral bonuses that I've paid for almost half of it.

You don't have to do anything. They send a currier to your house to pick it up at no charge.

We tried a Tuft & Needle for the 100 night trial. Sending it back. A little too firm. We'll be going with the Leesa next. Several blogs online say it is softer and a better-made mattress than the T&N.

Thinking this might be a nice alternative to when I have to sleep on a bed instead of the floor since right now I have no mattress. I just sleep on top of a sheet that is laid out on the carpet on my back. Been sleeping on the floor for about 7 months now. Best and most optimal position for spine alignment.

Can the mattress be folded back up quite easily whenever you need to?

Looks similar to Casper, but gets better reviews from Sleepopolis and Sleep Sherpa. Also slightly cheaper.

I've got the Casper now and I just order the Purple to try and see which I like better. Casper sleeping a little bit hot for me.

interesting was going to order one and thought to check craigslist (in socal) first, found a guy selling a queen for $200 that his old roommate bought and used for less than a month before moving to NY and leaving wrapped in his storage unit last year

don't think there's much market for fakes on these, and I've already tried a friend's casper so don't really need the return policy, only thing I'd miss out on would be the topper since this was made before the re-design
though I have a pretty good plush bamboo topper I'm using now that I like

I might be willing to part with my 1yr old Casper. Only sign of wear is a small cut on the top from their crappy envelope opener they provided to cut the plastic off. King size.

I've had back trouble with beds for as long as I can remember. Wife and I bought a Tempurpedic after mulling Casper v. Tempurpedic for awhile. I know the Casper is designed to be the same quality without the sting to the pocketbook but damn, we love our Tempurpedic.

Come to think of it, the last comfortable mattress I remember before this was my trusty old over-long maroon bed at A&M.

I never saw this thread until just now. I bought a king size Leesa about 2 months ago and love it! I have had 3 back surgeries over the years (1987, 1996, and 2003). I had loved my old mattress for years, but the last couple of years I had noticed I was waking up with more soreness and sometimes back pain. Since the Leesa, I have been feeling much better and sleeping much better. I sometimes have soreness and sometimes no soreness at all, so I am really happy about that. Definitely the first time on the Leesa, I noticed it warmer, so I don't use the comforter and I turned the a/c down one degree more when we go to bed. No problems with being too hot now.

I am very happy with the Leesa, the cost, the shipping, how comfortable it is. The amorous activities have been awesome too. No problems there.

Bought my Casper last September. Absolutely love it.
