It was amazing. The latex layer gives a good bounce
And you don't need to wear a condom.

Thinking about pulling the trigger on the Casper. Are the Casper and Leesa just different companies but same materials?
quote:Awesome! And thank you, too! Mine says it should arrive Wednesday. I can't even wait. I wanted to see if I could just open the box on top of my box springs so it opens up there. Is that probably unlikely?
Got my gift card today! Thanks buttercup!!! I sincerely hope your Casper helps your back as much as it has helped mine. I also hope yours arrives soon. Make sure you have some help getting it unloaded and unpacked. Thing is heavy and could hurt your back worse.
quote:Both are ok on support. I sink down pretty far on the edge but im a big guy. Dont expect to have a firm edge, neither does.
How is the edge support on the Casper (or Leesa)?

I am in the market for a new mattress and had not heard of either of these mattresses. This info has been helpful and thanks for the links to the discounts! The info I have read on these indicate that the Leesa is pretty firm. Do you know if the Casper is more or less firm than the Leesa. We are more used to a softer feel.
quote:Oh I will have to check that out, maybe. Mine is going to be here tomorrow and I can't even handle it!
After talking to the customer service rep at Casper, they are in the process of making an extra latex topper for those that think it is too firm. The rep wouldn't comment but other blog posts seem to indicate that a topper would be provided for free to current customers but I have no way of knowing for sure if that part is true or not. I am used to a more firm mattress and I think the Casper is very soft (but still very supportive), though many people seem to rate it in the firm side of moderate stiffness. Their 100 night trial is really as simple and easy as they claim (per reading blogs and calling and talking to the reps) so if you buy it and it is too firm you could either ask for an extra topper when it is avaiable or return it.
Have no idea about Leesa
quote:It felt the same way switching from my temperpedic, but once you lay on it for a while, you sink in and it contorts to your body and feels fantastic.
I got it! And I set it up by myself. I'm weak, but I'm way more stubborn and impatient, so it took a long time, but it's all ready. Initially, I am a little unsure. It feels nice and all, but I've been sleeping on a pillow top for a long time and the firmness is much more intense. I'm anxious to see how it sleeps.
quote:Set it outside with a sign that says Free Mattress on it, it will be gone that day usually. Or for $5, you can drop it here houstonfurniturebank.org if your in Houston. Not sure in Cstat on drop locations. If you cant find anything, find a donation store like goodwill and drop it after hours or something lol
Quick question, what does one do with the old spring mattress? Does the trashman just pick it up with the rest or what? Put it up on craigslist for people needing a guestroom mattress?
