You can look at the same way as going to see a movie twice in theaters.

They are amazing live, and I admittedly get FOMO if one of my favorite bands is within driving distance. Seems like a no brainer in my eyes.

Have like 10+ shows to get tickets for but I'll probably sign up to work the VIPs for a few to get free entry, like both Muse dates and Metallica in Lubbock.

Thinking of doing Bonnaroo, but I might just do Lollapalooza again just because I had a fantastic time this year as a first timer.

I really don't care about anything else in life besides my family and live music lol ... haven't bought new jeans or a pair of shoes since like summer 2017 lol

Currently have tickets to see both the Avett Brothers and Jason Isbell at Red Rocks (separate shows). Might not go to both. Avetts will probably win out if I only go to one.

Stones @ NRG; bought the tickets already. BTW, the Chronicle ran an ad on Friday or Saturday past for a Paul McCartney concert scheduled for the same night as The Stones and the same location, NRG.

Have you ever considered Voodoo Fest. I enjoy that festival because just go hang out bourbon or frenchman after the fest ends around 1030

Are AC/DC rumored to tour? I read about the rumored album, but damn if they tour again I'm excited.

Alice Cooper and Ace Frehley are rumored to be touring together too, Ace let that slip during an interview. That's a bad ass ticket right there.

Agree on Voodoo being fun, but their lineups are usually not as good as other fests. I went in 2014 and had a good time though, but was underage so I couldn't go to Bourbon.

Good fest to hit that has an ACL vibe is Outside Lands in SF, it's expensive (ticket and SF stay) but the chill weather in the summer makes it perfect.

Lollapalooza is fantastic but do know that you won't feel your legs by the third day. And it's a 4 day fest (unless you do an after show on wednesday lol)

If you sniff around you'll find a photo of Brian Johnson and Phil Rudd... having a coffee and smoke outside the studio where they're working on a new AC/DC album. In my experience I suspect a 2019 tour.

Ace Frehley opened for many Alice Cooper shows this year, with the Alice final 2018 show in October. I took one of my sons to go see them in August at the Greek, Los Angeles. The Cooper show was one of the best productions... he sounds great at 70.. and Nita Strauss shines. Orianthi took the stage that evening with her "old" band to close with "School's Out". If you haven't checked her out try "According to You", her first single (watch the vid)... and a nice live "How do you Sleep".

Cheers!

hah.. I haven't bought a new pair of jeans in probably 10 years.

Not a very good gauge of showing one's sacrifice

i mean "hobo" isn't really a fair standard to use when talking about spending.

although the only clothes i do buy are concert merch, but I try to just get shirts that have the tour dates on the back so the expense is worth it

I'll be at the Houston show.

Just saw Elton John, excellent show. Voice is obviously not 100%, but it was a great time nonetheless. And he played
Funeral For a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding, so I was happy.
