Just picked up floor seats to John Mayer in Houston.

He announced full US Tour yesterday, fan tickets on sale today. Will be "An Evening With..." so no opener, and two full sets. In a few cities (LA/NY) he is doing two nights and said he'll do no repeats between nights.

Man tickets are pricey these days! But it's worth a splurge every now and then

CHVRCHES just announced a Houston show. Damn. My concert budget is getting blown and we aren't even out of January!

Saw Disturbed last night at Toyota Center, good show but really low attendance. They winded up shutting off the upper levels and still the pit was about 1/3 empty and there were plenty of open seats in the lower bowl. I'm not going to complain too much I got my tickets from groupon for $20 dollars all in for what winded up being lower section seats.

Saw Panic! At the Disco earlier this month... entertaining show and tickets were pretty cheap.

The big one this year is Billy Joel at Fenway in September. Absolutely can't wait for that one.

Adding Jim James at Heights Theatre in May to my list. Vampire Weekend likely as well.

First time for me at TC with a set up like that with barely a "half house" set up. I overpaid for lower bowl tix as I really thought it would be better attended but oh well,...enjoyed both bands and the evening.

Wow. I saw them last Saturday at AA in Dallas and it was sold out. Tons out energy. Really great show as always although I prefer an outdoor venue

I guess it was because Houston was a Monday night show? I saw the Smashing Pumpkins last year on their tour which was under selling badly and Disturbed had far less people than that.

Toyota Center doesn't let you see the available seats like Ticketmaster does but I knew something was off when a week before the show I hit the "best available" option for tickets and there were still pit tickets available. I kept an eye on Groupon and sure enough tickets popped up a couple days later.
