I hate masks and Covid protocols but that was the ranting of a man that didn't want a lot of people to lose their jobs.

Yep, this is all over Twitter, Reddit, etc. And he seems to be getting universal praise for this. I think he is definitely in the right here. But he might want to take a more tactful approach next time. Management 101 and all.
As a side note, I know Hayley Atwell has been working out quite a bit for this role, but something about her face looks a bit different. Maybe its the hair. Looking good though.

That's been the trajectory of MI movies since 3, no? Each one better then it's predecessor which was also really good?
I totally agree- 3 was great! and yet 4 was better - then 5 was better then 6 somehow elevated the series to what the above poster said - it's the best action movie of all time, IMO... even the soundtrack can't be toppedisraeliag said:

The first hour of 6 was a muddled mess.
But the final 40 minutes is the best action sequence put on film. Just amazing, more than made up for the first half.

"Muddled mess"? The only thing even remotely "muddled" in the first half, IMO, is the sky diving sequence, but the goofiness there is offset by the sheer audacity of what's being attempted and put to film. Everything else, though? The Wolf Blitzer ruse? The bathroom fight? The White Widow intro? The entire Paris sequence? Every bit of it is incredible, and didn't seem muddled to me in the least.
I have to respectfully disagree with you. And, Vanessa Kirby makes up for whatever "muddled mess" you saw in the first hour. (There was no muddled mess.)
To each their own, and maybe muddled wasn't the right word.
But the first hour and a half was plot for plot and action's sake. Its entire purpose was to get us back to where Lane was the Uber villain. Pretty sure we all knew where it was ending up, so why spend that long getting there? It was all basically filler for the inevitable - Ethan vs the Bond villain. Yeah they added the extra bad guy and brought Rebecca back, but that could have been done in a fraction of the time.

This really makes me want to see a B&W version that actually looks like this and the cruise running photos.
I just want to say how much fun it is when I see my watchlist have an update - then I see it's about Mission Impossible.... can't wait and these updates keep the excitement building
