Fair enough, I guess I just wanted to like it and have been extremely bored by it. I'll finish it up, but save you guys from hearing me rant

They finally catch up to Claude and then everyone has to go run ****ing errands.
Agreed, it just felt off to me as well. Like they had everything laid out for the beginning through the middle, they have the ending laid out, but maybe they couldn't work out this part of the story...which is troubling. The main thing I had an issue with is with Terry they had him on video, and witnesses at the time of the murder...but it didn't matter. So they have multiple cops with Claude at night, all of which are sleeping, they couldn't even say faithfully that they were with him every minute, they didn't take turns just staying in the room with him throughout the night. It would make way more sense if he stayed locked up and there were people in the room with him every minute, and a camera running. Nope, lets get him out of jail and we'll all just hang out, and sleep...how are all these people sleeping while battling the embodiment of evil and they have a key piece of their puzzle?TCTTS said:
I don't know, this was the first episode that really made me roll my eyes. I can't put my finger on why, exactly, but the pacing was off, the gang-going-after-the-monster vibe felt weird, and whoever wrote this episode has clearly never been to the south, as the dialogue/colloquialisms were so bad and cliche. Also, whatever mystery was left has all but evaporated by now. I do like the adults-coming-together-to-kill-"It" vibe at the end, and I'm still interested to see where these final two episodes go, but man, that was such an odd episode all around.
They already had the Georgia police call in a favor to pick him up. What is an additional 12 or 24 hours? They could have even told him that same story and said he was better off staying there a few days. Instead, they had four cops, plus two more people shacking up in his criminal brothers house with nobody documenting the isolated condition of the guy they were supposed to be setting up an ironclad alibi for. The same abduction attempt while the suspect is in jail could have been a better storyline.bobinator said:
Wouldn't it have been stupider writing to have them keep him in jail for no reason?

Can anyone remember if Terry ever mentioned bad dreams or not being able to sleep?

I do think it would have made more sense to at least have someone in the room with him, but I think he had to get out of jail.
