It feels a bit odd seeing someone as old as Harrison Ford leaping between cars and doing all these stunts.

Nope. Maybe got in the face of some street punk, then approaching the house with all the gang bangers at the end.jeffk said:

We were talking about this yesterday too. Realized that Hollywood is kind of on an old man action hero phase with this and The Old Man and even the newer John Wick movies. Was RED the first old people can be violent too film?

One more time. No one is "taking over" or replacing Indy or donning his hat nor is he being "erased" thru some contrivance— and he never was, not not in any cut or script — but trolls will troll — that's how they get their clicks. 1/

The diff between trolling a-holes & everyone else is they r trying to make $ off your feelings about other films & culture war politics. They push contoversial guesses as coming from "sources" to gin up clicks. Let it go. END

I believe that is how Benjamin Linus both released the monster and moved the island.Apache said:Quote:

Imagine going back to 1989 when Batman and Last Crusade are in theaters & your younger self asks what are you all excited about in 2023 & answering Michael Keaton playing Batman and Harrison Ford playing Indiana Jones. pic.twitter.com/zKlSUNWQ1s

Agreed on the recasting. Problem was, Harrison Ford had never actually stepped away from the role. The road to The Crystal Skull was a long one, with lots of scripts and story ideas that were considered over a number of years before they settled on what became The Crystal Skull. Now that Ford has publicly stated The Dial of Destiny will be his last time as Indiana Jones, I would hope that the role is recast and we get more Indiana Jones movies.PatAg said:
TC was the first person I ever saw voice this thought, but we should have been getting Indy movies just like we got James Bond movies. Once Ford didn't want to do it anymore after the first 3 (im guessing), could have recast him with someone that fits the roles needs
