Maybe she knows it is a shorter walk to her house by cutting across the open land.

Big disappointment. Yellowstone ranch is only 50,000 acres? That's no where near the largest ones in Montana. Thought they were suppose to be kings of Montana ranches.

Question about the Native American girls dearh, how do they know it was a homicide? I assumed she started walking after her car ran out of gas, after dark, and she didn't see the canyon and just fell to her death. They should have had her without any clothes on and that would have made it more believable as being a homocide at first glance.

They said they were selling 300 horses, and only got $16K....yikes.

The whole angst against Jamie thing is pretty dumb. He was a kid.
This......Something off about both the barrel racers......gigemJTH12 said:
so what do yall think about the hot girl getting sweet with the old man??
she actually likes him and its just a weird plot line?
or shes up to no good and she chose an easy target?
Way off. They just basically told the two guys they were their girlfriends now. The old guy and Jimmie are too PW to question like they should.Mr.Bond said:This......Something off about both the barrel racers......gigemJTH12 said:

This is likely very true. Sheridan likes side plots and plots in plots. Don't think they are related to the main plot of the attempted corporate land grab of the ranch. It's likely a payback for some past issue with the guys in the bunkhouse. Kind of like the meth heads were a bunkhouse plot and had nothing really to do with the main ranch. The only overlap with the Duttons was when Kayce & Co. helped Jimmie kill them.'03ag said:
Calling my shot that the barrel racers are a red herring. Something seems off for sure, but I'm betting it amounts to nothing. We'll see.
Well, they're doing that for sure. The Brolin girl actually can barrel race ok. That blond girl was a joke - had the most laughable super wide turns a mile away from the barrels. She's not even past an intermediate rider.'03ag said:
Maybe so, but to be clear, I mean I think it's actually nothing. Just an excuse to put two young ladies on the screen, have something good happen for Jimmy, and goof on barrel racing. No payback for anything.
LMAO I was saying the exact same thing to my wife. I grew up around it and have seen 8 year olds with tighter turnsOld RV Ag said:Well, they're doing that for sure. Side note - everyone knows the Brolin girl is Josh Brolin's daughter. Anyone pick up that Teeter is Michael Landon's ("Litte Joe") daughter?

Who made a decision based on what the family highly values - protect the Dutton name.
The confrontation with John and Jamie and then the scene with Kayce trying to hold back Jamie showed Beth around the corner with that distant "boiling the pet rabbit" crazy stare. She's got an evil plan with this.AgEng06 said:
Yeah... Beth's constant war path/ranting is starting to wear me down. I know it's her character, but damn lady, take a break.
It will be interesting to also see where Kayce falls in this. He's not close to Beth or Jamie but he has told Jamie he's his brother and that's that - and add in that in season 1, Jamie kept Kayce out of jail several times.AgEng06 said:
I agree with you.
Well, the way Kayce and Monica have been going at it, he'll have some more heirs. This was the first episode this season not showing those two screwing.Big Al 1992 said:
And why Costner is upset he only has one heir - because only one person can't handle all that land or because Kayce's son is part Indian he will have to give up some of that land?
I agree - Beth had to know. I was just addressing the Jamie side.River Bass said:
It's unrealistic that the clinic Beth went to wouldn't explain to her that a hysterectomy was to be part of the abortion process. It would not have been a secret to be kept from the patient. I don't buy that Beth could have gone through this without knowing the consequences herself.
There are lots of stories about Res clinics sterilizing patients without their knowledge, or flat out against their instructions. I have no idea the background or validity. Just saying it's a common claim and I'm sure they're playing off that.Old RV Ag said:I agree - Beth had to know. I was just addressing the Jamie side.River Bass said:

Well, the lady at the counter was pretty clear about sterilization.'03ag said:There are lots of stories about Res clinics sterilizing patients without their knowledge, or flat out against their instructions.
