Better than Ultron, not close to Avengers 1.

Just finished Part 2, a little over an hour in, and I guess I'm in the minority, because have no idea how I'm going to watch another three hours of this. It's just so insanely bloated and masturbatory and void of anything even remotely compelling. Not to mention, the scenes with Steppenwolf and Darkseid and whoever that cloaked henchmen was are on par with and remind me so much of the scenes with Megatron and Starscream in the Transformers movies; just the most juvenile, vapid, and dumb villain speak/motivations imaginable. Add in Diana's utterly terrible and overly expositional voice over to that entire mother box origins sequence and I simply don't understand how people are enjoying this. It must get insanely better, and I'll be the first to admit if it does. Here's hoping...

I mean they're fairly typical comic book movie villain motivations. Honestly wondering what someone could expect.

It's significantly better going from a C- to a B+ but still not remotely in the same league of epic as infinity war/end game.

Picked it up through context but I guess the anti-life thing makes Darkseids hell permanent throughout the universe instead of having to invade and attack planets individually?
So, like government then. Gotcha.BoydCrowder13 said:YouBet said:

Yep. Basically removes free will from all life instantly.

What does Darkseid do after he gets the anti-life equation? Thanos had a vision of a balanced universe, what does Darkseid perfect universe look like? Everyone enslaved?

DC movies should just embrace this edgier, R rated concept and stop trying to out-Marvel Marvel.
To be fair, he was quite happy as he regained his memory in Kansas. Also, aren't most of the stories of him in recent years more of a grey take on Superman? Him being a boyscout got old and it's boring for most which is why you've seen so many iterations of him flirting with evil or going evil.Quad Dog said:
That's what I don't get about the Snyder Justice League setup. Superman is the DC boy scout and their beacon of wholesomeness, heroism, and idealism.
But the DC movies have him kill someone in MoS, die in BvS, come back to life with no memory and then wear black and barely say anything in Justice Leage, then go evil in Justice League 2 and take over the world ala Injustice:Gods Among Us or Apokolips War.
Are we never going to get a happy Superman from All-Star or For All Seasons?
