having an owlbear as one of the monsters is a pretty deep dive into D&D creature lore. Some of the other beasts in the trailer are straight out of the greatest book ever published, which I've held onto a copy of since the 1980s, the Monster Manual.jackie childs said:

You can snag a copy for like $10. If you're a Stranger Things fan, it's great seeing all of the beasts in there - Mind Flayer, Demogorgon, etc.
