Because it was a typical check the box jab at the patriarchy(over compensation of that these days) and she was dead wrong. There have also been some reviews on youtube that the delivery of the scene was broken as well. Overall it's been an enormous distraction that if it wasn't included it would have gone a long way in perception of the show.

I don't care enough to go rewatch the scene, but it was a quick way to establish the She-Hulk is going to be different than the Hulk we know. The "why" doesn't matter that much to me - just get to the show itself already.

If you came into this thinking "it's Hulk but a chick, Hollywood lacks originality," hopefully the first 3 episodes have shown how She-Hulk is (and almost always has been) way different. If it took a little soap boxing to get there, so be it. This hulk doesn't rage, doesn't have dual personalities, can change mostly at will, etc.

It's like Iron Man 2 with the recast Rhodey - "look, it's me, I'm here, let's just move on."

Were those reviews given by guys with beards and sunglasses recording from the driver's seat of their trucks?

I've read plenty of She-Hulk comics and twerking is something that I could totally see happening in the comics.

She Hulk is hot in human and hulk version. No complaints about twerking

Finally caught up on all 3 episodes. Show is hilarious and cool. The kind of stuf I want to see from Marvel TV, taking chances, making it fun, going out on a limb. The Megan The Stallion subplot was 100% hilarious.

Hilarious episode. Magician trial had some serious Arrested Development vibes.

Donny Blaze with some real Gob energy there. Wongers and Madisynn (2 n's and a y, but not where you think) were great, and I enjoyed the online dating sideplot. Great episode overall

Jenn's phone background was Captain America's ass, nay America's ass.

In Dr. Strange it made it seem like the sling ring was the first thing sorcerers learned. After what Wong taught us this week, that seems very irresponsible.

4th wall break at the end was great.

I want a Wongers and Madisynn series on FX on Hulu.

Madisynn is a Parks & Rec tier side character. So good.

Might be the best line in the MCU

Show is pretty meh for me so far. Something to watch.

Was out of town when the first episode aired, and it took me a while to catch up, but I finally knocked out all four episodes this week and... it's a fun show! I'm going to have to eat crow on this one. Even the CGI, to me, is mostly impressive, save for a couple shots here and there. Sure, the whole thing falls into the same trap from time-to-time that most of these Marvel Disney+ series fall into, and there's a decent amount that's a bit too goofy for my taste. But it's legit funny at times and well done for the most part. If anything, they've nailed the tone, and I actually really enjoy the shorter episode lengths.

This thread, on the other hand... ooof. Good gosh, what a train wreck, for at least the first four pages or so. All the usual suspects spewing all the usual garbage, as if every thought they ever have HAS to be heard by the very people who could not care less...
