So is Harrison Ford playing the same character Tim McGraw played, only 40 years later?

They kind of left that open to speculation.
That's what I assumed, too.Belton Ag said:Stupe said:

Yeah it wasn't definitive I agree. Just the way he says something to the affect of "Lord just let me get home" after he was shot and then having Margaret screaming out when he gets inside the house made me figure he died.
good analysis but the truth with a million man army is there were plenty of privates who were 20 years old in 1863 who then are promoted to officer rank on the battlefield.Belton Ag said:
I don't know for sure but I assumed James was a little older than 20 during the Civil War because he was an officer. There were young officers at that time but they were mostly patrician and came about their rank because they were able to raise companies of soldiers. James never struck me as having that kind of background.

looks good
agree that 1883 was excellent
appreciate clarity on timelines and characters and how it all fits together
will this be available on Amazon Prime just like Yellowstone 5 is?

Pretty excited. I actually liked 1883 better than Yellowstone.

Watching the preview of 1923 now. They kept the voiceover. Even while dead, Elsa manages to ruin a promising Yellowstone spinoff.
I would think the one out hunting the Ghost and the Darkness.JCRiley09 said:
Okay which character was the son from 1883?
