Spent most of the episode thinking it was one of the best hours of television I've ever seen. By the end, I think I've decided I'm done with the show.
They moved from the main gate to a weaker section. Smart s'rooms.Quote:

And just think, they've already greenlit season 3. I seriously can't believe they did that so early in season 2 to Pedro Pascal's character and non-gamer audiences.MW03 said:
It's been pretty clear that this is Ellie's story and show. Didn't think they'd kill off Joel before there was some kind of reconciliation between them. All in all a fantastic episode, but I'm not particularly excited to watch a season of Ellie vs Abby the rest of the way.

For all those jumping ship, recommend giving it another episode or two at least.
What follows this series of events from tonight's episode in the game is an absolute masterpiece in storytelling and gameplay. I hope the show can replicate that. It is that good.

So the folks coming down the hill are the good guys? I mean they are in the right IMO.
now that we're all here (😭) everyone needs to watch ashley johnson as ellie performing joel's death for the video game because it's one of the greatest acting feats i've ever witnessed in my life #thelastofus pic.twitter.com/6Rz1P5q8ju

Right. Which I literally acknowledged. But that's awfully convenient plot-wise, in the face of being able to save the world with Ellie's body/blood.
