The Last Werewolf - Glen Duncan
Picked this up at Half Priced Books on a total whim because I wanted to read a horror novel for Halloween. I knew nothing about this book nor the author. I have abandoned it about 15% in. It's just not enjoyable to read. It's almost written in this classic lit / noir style that is just hard to get through. The protagonist is the werewolf and he tells the story in an unnecessarily complex way. It's almost like the book is more about how the author is going to write this story than actually tell the story.
Also, I found out after I got home that it's a trilogy which I specifically did not want, but that's on me for not checking when I bought it. And it's pretty sexually graphic which doesn't bother me but it may others. Regardless, it's been canned.
Back to Licanius 3 to finish out that trilogy.
